my dad gave my sister this tape when we were kids, man she'd play it all the time while I played nintendo, my god I can honestly say she is the best singer ever. My granny met me but I cant remember her, but I guarantee her love of Patsy went to my dad and into us kids.
This proves that there's no song that Miss Patsy Cline can't sing!Even after nearly fifty years since her death in March 1963,she's still a high-driving force in country music to this day!
What a nightmare to think that the only difference between this fantastic woman and Lady Gaga is 50 years or so... Can you imagine if popular music still required this talent... I'm 26 years old, but I am seriously jealous of a time when a beautiful voice and simple, accessible songs beat out being a whore...
I found a Patsy Cline LP amongst my Dad's record collection when I was a kid and I loved this song the moment I first heard it, still do along with just about anything Patsy recorded. What an incredible voice this lady had.
We love this song. We sing along.....was she the only artist to record it and when it was recorded was it 'well played' via radio etc. I got the song on one of my complications but in all honesty, Ms. Cline was gone a year before I was even born. Any references anyone can pass on to me would be appreciated. Thanks
Great job Walley..Patsy didn't want to record this song because the lyrics to the song were too close to her personal life at the time. Patsy's producer Owen Bradley rearranged the song to Patsy's liking.
@maryjulie2 I'm pulling my hair out trying to get the Traingle Song. Can you PLEASE tell me the name of the album it is on, record cassette cd I don't really mind I can get it transferred if I need to. PRETTY PLEASE. i have always be a great fan of Patsy and getting this would be a bonus, Gary from Down Under
@DelilahsJukebox Only 10. I call it 100% 100 out of 100. Does anyone know the name of the album it is on PLEASE? her best song? well it rates with some really good ones of hers, But I can't get it. Gary
