Just put my order in on the M-Audio Fast Track C-400 bundle with Pro-Tools MP Edition. My Christmas present to myself :-) Now I just need a Microphone to go with it. LOL
I'll more than likely go with the AT-4040 unless otherwise advised to go with another one.

It's only an extra $100, and I've heard that you can't really be heard with a drummer over the 22. What do you recommend? Thanks man, and merry Christmas to you man.
@NosralTserrof I would go with the 50 or 100 (even better) if you plan on playing heavy with a drummer. for metal though, that's not really what these amps are made to do. they need a boost to tighten up to do metal and the gain you hear on this is about as brootz as this thing can get. if you want heavier, I would get a used 5150.

@mrkyt77 Put some NOS RFT 12ax7's in preamp sockets 1, 2 and 5. that's all I've done.
