Ranked 40th on Billboard's Year-End Hot 100 Singles of 1968 chart...

I just went on a school retreat, and this is one of the songs they played during it. It's really catchy, and after we heard it, everybody kept saying "I feel in my fingers, I feel in my toes..." for the rest of the retreat. It's been stuck in my head for days now... =]
This song has always been one of my favorites! I wish you strength as you begin your battle with lung cancer, Reg Presley. May God be with you, and bless you.
REF: Why do people have to post their life stories- just type 'love this song' like a normal person
Because normal people tag live experiences to music, and this is how by listening to music they can always remember that favorite memory. Memories never die, and if a song can make your heart sing for a few minutes that's awesome!!!!!!
InNItTh0 ..... cuz we have life stories. Serious ones. And Music is the only element keeping it all together. One day...when you're older.... you'll know. And you'll be so grateful for..... THE MUSIC... xxoo
@InNItTh0 it's not because you don't have an interesting life to share with others, that others aren't allowed to share their interesting life with you
Wet Wet Wet Charted "Love Is All Around" since it charted On 30th May 1993, as it was used For The 1993 Romantic Comedy Film, "Four Weddings And A Funeral."
There was a time when I couldn't listen to 'Love' songs or watch movies with 'Love' in them. Perhaps the one person who is disliking this song has had a similar experience with their 'Love' gone bad and is shunning any form of the emotion. Fortunately, I found a very special person that cured me of all my 'Hate' for Human Companionship and the songs written about it. We were married for a while but have separated now, but I have not given up on finding 'Love' again. ;-)
I had to stay after school today to finish a project and I ended up staying until 5 :p
When I went to leave, no one was there of course except for the janitors who were cleaning somewhere because I could hear music playing. I've never heard this song before but it was echoing down the empty hallway and I just had to stop and listen. Love it.
too bad that there isn,t enough love to go through the whole universe. the whole world would be beter off. trust me. think about it people. spread the word plz. thanks
@aloedajazzite ..... not only this tune is addictive and awesome, the whole period in time in which this originated shares this attribute. I was fortunate having been a teenager then and growing up with the magic of that time.
One of my all time favourite songs, my prayers are with Reg hope your well soon x

@InNItTh0 People are just sharing good memories, that's all. Why does it bother you so? No one is hurting you.

Dave here. Me too, Jag. This is a more richly orchestrated version than the "yellow labelled" one.

Classic... The Gap did a commercial with this song.. which led me to look for the song. What a surprise with "Wild Thing" as well.
