Why do all our modern technologies work if our chemistry is wrong?? Hydrogen is made up of atoms which contain 1 proton and 1 electron. Helium has 2 of each. Lithium has 3 of each, and onward thru all the elements. What he's saying is that therefore Helium is made up os 2 hydrgen atoms, lithium 3 h atoms and so on. OK. We knew that in the 1800s. Its like saying the number 2 is made up of 2 1s, 3 is made up of3 1s..... So what???
