All I tried to say was the FACT that " a series of obstacles" does not explain what parkour is really about but freerunning does a better job of it. Also people over here do refer to it as parkour but it is more commonly known as freerunning. This started because you tried to say parkour and freerunning are not the same thing which is wrong whether you like it or not

Freerunning is slightly diffrent in the aspect that it no longer is about how the body moves but instead on the flash and style of the run. Hence the corkscrews and gainer twist

well quite simply your opinion is wrong. Freerunning is just another name for parkour. It's basically because the word parkour doesn't explain the sport as well as freerunning does and finally just because it is described as freerunning it doesn't actually mean that running is "the main goal"
