Super!! Even thought the turkey bone may be to large for cats, the chewing and gnawing off the cartilage is a great way to keep teeth clean. It is also enjoyable and exercises neck and mouth muscles.
This kitty is lucky enough to have an "owner" with brains!!
Yes the soft cartilage is a great way of keeping teeth clean.( much easier than a tooth brush) Only Snow, Slider and Ellie eat raw meat. Binks and River will not touch it. The meat eaters do have cleaner teeth.
how much meat should be on a meaty bone? i saw a comic on deviant art, of a woman who gave cats some left over scrap bones. I don't think tis 16 year old knows what raw feeding is and I doubt the bones in her fantasy land were raw, as they just look like someone was done eating chicken legs it made no sence

@mohawk5010 : A carnivores body is built to expel bacteria in a timely manner, as opposed to an herbivores body (human beings). Cats and dogs have higher stomach acid levels to kill much of the bacteria and a shorter digestive tract to expel whatever is left before it can reproduce. Unlike people, carnivores can survive through salmonella poisonin without immediate medical attention.
im glad u found it necesary to record and post this video. dumb.

You shouldn't let your cat eat bones, as it could splinter and break up.

@Zut50 Sorry, wrong again.
That is only true for COOKED bones.

Nice kitty, and cats and dogs prefer raw meat, but salmonella affects humans and animals alike.

Awesome, but turn down the heavy metal, your kitty wants to eat with some nice backround music, soft jazz, or classical.
