Not the beats mate... THE DRUM! It was cold and loose. I did that for a reason. To show the correct technique of how to roll with the wrists probably to get the nice timing within the roll. I saw you dissin my sifu and my suggestions are you take it up with him. You live like 2hrs away. That or you post a vid of you doing it better and i will bow down!

my team only do hok-san style we use have some fut-san heads but still use the fut-san head with the hok-san beat i was just asking because i want to train at drumming

was the drum from vietnam? To my knowledge only vietnam produces drums like that with 4 rolls of nails with that shape.
