Ann Cryer MP, u didnt live in that culture, so u dont know how its important for the girls savin the virginity untill they r married, and in most casees family arrengment (NOT FORSE MARRIAGE) is better then finding just a lover...... How many single moms u have in your country, how many underage moms has ur country got??? Is thet fair??? Is that right??? In old cultures of any religion (especially in Islam) virginity is important, and family arrengament too....... So judge yourself people !!!!

@Ulugbek48 I lived in a culture where virginity is the top priority for a woman and found this "values" unbelievably stupid; they are simply repression of the uneducated. The real problem is in a society where women need to get married; this is just backwards. In the society where I used to live there are lots of single mothers and underage mums which are as happy or unhappy as in the society I live now. Think: what is "under age" in your society?

I think the best thing, is Transperancy between couples and having truthful open discussion... hymenoplasty done with prespective of decieving the husband, is completely unethical, and decieving, even some countries consider this as a fraud ...

I am not against Hymenoplasty itself, but this should be discussed with a future husband before hands.. and to be informed

repairing the hymen doesnt have to mean that the woman is afraid from her husband or because her husband wants a paper from the doctor saynig his wife is a virgin lol but maybe the woman lost her virginity in a bad way or accident and she wana proove her husband she is a virgin on their wedding night cuz she respect herself and her family.
