That they expose some of their private life as something funny doesn't really mean they only have a great time, being a school teacher could be a very stressful thing. However, they are also serious people, and that can be proved taking into consideration how successful they are doing what they do.

Yes, of course they are very serious about what they do and love. What I'm trying to say is that they never try to be something that they don't feel is right. A lot of bands in the black metal scene often take themselves too seriously and try to look as grim and dark as possible. Darkthrone, on the other side, do what they love, regardless of how these TRVE blackmetal fans may feel. That's why their music sounds so fresh and new.

In my opinion, anyways.
