  • Appreciate the tips.. thank you.. Continue the awesome work. You are awesome... I have to stagger the days I do my core training from the normal weight training days and then ensuring enough rest so I dont continue to exhaust the important body parts on the days I need to do core work..

  • *because you pronounce 'v' as 'f'

  • Nice workouts! Sorry, are you German, Dutch?

  • @LoveFTorres Dutch, my English is quite a lot better now, but still not perfect.

  • Dang u could be an impressive breakdancer :D

  • @xXSixxxeRXx Actually I think I would be very bad at it. The reason for this is because I lack specific strength for breakdancing and I am not good at dynamic strength required for a lot of those exercises. I'm more suited for gymnastics or martial arts.

  • didnt i saw ya in Weed?

  • @QuebecShufflers Nope!?

  • @QuebecShufflers Excellent tutorial... The palms flat on the floor will be better than gripping a pair of parallettes ?

  • @nisookh No, actually by placing your hands on the floor you will make it more difficult. On parallettes it will be easier to do.

  • man thats awesome. the V-sit looks like it requires most of the upper body muscles to contract

  • @ilovetoeatrice Don't underestimate the leg muscles. You need to fully contract them too, otherwise it's hard to keep your legs that way. But yes indeed, it is mostly your upper body.

  • arshavin?

  • WOOOOOOWWW!!!!! INCREIBLE!!! ;D

  • i can sit like that but lifting the legs up and straight... cant do that :(

  • awesome tutorial ! congratulations bro´ !

  • Impreszionant,you have a perfect body,what do you eat,,,,,,congrats......(a real man...amazing!!!!!)

  • Is it possible that my arms are to short?

  • @citizenlares I don't think that is the reason, but maybe it is. Most gymnasts are mesomorphs meaning they don't have tall arms to begin with and they can almost all do this. What you can try is do the elevated V-sit first. You might think you can't do this, but maybe you are not strong enough yet to keep your body of the floor properly. As you can see in my video my shoulders are still raised, so I could come of the floor even further when I could keep my shoulders lower.

  • @jlvi13 Maby it can be both because i can do it on my finger tips for around 5 seconds.

The thing is that my hands dont look like they are short.

  • @citizenlares Loose some fat of ur ass.

  • hahahah, i just tried, my arms aint long enough xD

  • Lec raise..

  • this guy is not on the juice. Almost everyone today is

  • straighten your legs!!

  • @cirquedumike They are straight dude. This is the limit my legs can bent in. When I'm sitting on the floor with extended legs it's not possible for me to touch the floor with my completely legs. The back of my knee will not touch the floor.

  • @cirquedumike

You are criticizing him?! You probably can't do a few push up 's and you are telling him what to do?! Go look in the mirror and see the idiot...

  • good

  • how old are you ?

  • @SUP3RH0M3R 20 years old. If you have more of these questions there is a FAQ on my channel in case you're interested.

  • Bruce Lee was able to hold this v-position for 30 minutes straight........

  • @alyaladdin It was said so, but I'm pretty stubborn to believe that. Just figure, most gymnasts can't even hold it for 30 minutes. He was a great man as far as I know, but there are things that were impossible for him to do. Anyway, thanks for your comment!

  • @jlvi13 The same guy who could do 50 one hand pullups in a row could most likely do this for 30 minutes

  • @joseph4ta How realistic do you think doing 50 pull ups with one hand is? I'm extremely skeptical about these kind of things. If there would be someone who could do 50 one handed pull ups, then I wouldn't think of him first. I'm sorry, but I just don't believe that kind of stuff, although he is a true inspiration.

  • Chuck Norris soN

  • this is acually steven hawkings talking! that guy know everything!

  • @juggerfox Let the man give his one cent to the public. He is in shape which many others out there are overweight or not in shape.. Its a lifestyle that will be with you until the end of your days. He is quite talented as well. anyways @Jivi13 Best of Luck

  • @eagl02 Thanks, it indeed is a lifestyle, not just something you need to rush through in a few years to look good at the beach. I learn together with my viewers and therefore I think my videos are different from others. Often the student is the best teacher!

  • MAKINA

  • Wow, that is impressive your very strong.

  • How long did it take to get that kinda six pack ?

  • @SpeedDaUp Don't know to be honest. Probably a year or so with good nutrition. Although I never was fat. My main challenge is to gain weight rather than lose it. That doesn't mean that I didn't have to fight for getting sixpack abs. On the contrary, I've had a hard time getting my abs like this.

  • the netherlands ??

  • Great job. You could possibly be working towards a manna.

  • @XtremeTkatchev Maybe I can, but that's a hard one, because I don't often practise my V-sit.

  • @jlvi13 well you should bro! go for the manna, i mean. but hey, it's just advice. you go ahead and do whatever the fuck you wanna do!

  • one of the rare informational videos on the tube of u

  • dutch?

  • @Narrowescape Yes, you can look that up on my channel as well. You would have had your answer a lot sooner!

  • GREAT VIDEO!! MAN. IT SEEMS YOU HAVE A LOT OF KNOWLEDGE MY FRIEND. Seriously no kidding. it takes one to know one

  • Do you have any hobbies apart from all the obvious exercise-related ones?

  • @juggerfox Not a lot, apart from just watching some videos and tv. I also like to learn things so I do a good amount of reading and am trying to learn my 5th language and improve 2 of the other 5 languages that I already knew as they are far from perfect.

  • can it help mee to lose love handles aka obliques

  • @sunilnawaz No, not at all. This is not really an exercise that you can practise to burn energy. Lovehandles are made out of fat, obliques are part of your abdominal muscles and are not fat. If you want to get rid of lovehandles you need to adjust your nutrition and have to lose weight. That's the only way! There are plenty of videos on my channel which can help you out achieving your goals and there is information on my website about nutrition and working out as well.

  • Dude, this is crazy! congratz

  • Dude that is hardcore!

  • click on my name and see my video with bodyweight exercises. or

    /watch?v=HQCqgLg4zUY

    thanks

  • really diggin ur pants bro. what kind are they?

i used to have a v sit up to 80-85% to vertical, but i like ur methods, gonna get it back now. wish luck

  • challenge accepted. I'm gonna take your advice and pracirce the l-sit then move on to the v-sit. ill make a vid when i have mastered it. :)

  • @BaseballCacher Nice, looking forward to see it!

  • i dun get why ppl would dislike such a thing

  • @stanleygqm Thanks!

  • i can do L-sit but this V-sit is too much for me lol

  • @blahvn Keep on trying if you really want to learn it. You definitely can learn this skill if you already know the L-sit. It only takes time and some effort, but besides that it is definitely not impossible! Good luck and let me know whenever you manage to do it!

  • @jlvi13 i'm still working out with my abs and my flexibility, it's gonna take long time lol

  • Crazy to me!

  • 290 likes to 9 dislikes = BOSSSSSSS

    GREAT TUTORIAL, MAN!

  • @efisgpr Thanks, this video went crazy last month. End November it had about 8000 views!

  • im 99 strenght but cant doi lolo

  • @aStrSkiller RUNESCAPE ON FITNESS VID? OMG

  • nothing special there. great muscles though.

  • i m asking my girlfriend to learn this for sure ..

  • @MrJunJie Haha, it's probably easier for you to learn, but I get your point.

  • @MrJunJie hell yeah me to :)

  • Very good man..

  • PLANCHE PUSHUPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @spagatu Working on it, but believe me. It's one of the most difficult bodyweight exercises out there. I don't think there is anybody that can do it after just a few years of regular training. Most people that can do it are gymnasts or something like that. I will succeed one day and upload it!

  • These are excellent V-sit tutorials. These came easy for me as a young gymnast and I had to keep working on them as I got older and larger and legs much heavier. But overall strength and flexibility are key just as you say. Great skill tutorial.

  • For those who didn't know, this is the starting position from Chuck Norris before he leaves his bed with a backflip every morning.

  • WHAT! NO TOP COMMENT!

  • Nice vids

  • Gonna try this.. Want to get these by the summer.. Great vid!

  • good, nice strength, nice video but your back is horrible. learn how to move your pelvis.

  • @vipcesh Not everybody has the same anatomy, remember that!

  • Bruce lee just did this 30 mins. well he has super human strength BTW. Good work bro :D

  • @asdgtweqywqdfsa I have recently had some arguments about Mr.Lee being able to do this 30 minutes, I came to the conclusion it's nearly impossible for a gymnast, let alone for Bruce Lee. He was very inspirational and strong, but don't overrate him either.

  • @jlvi13 I never heard of him doing it for 30 minutes but I heard 3-5 and that's still amazing. as far as strength to weight ratio Bruce Lee kind of cant be overrated just exaggerated.

  • @mawkheaf Yeah, maybe you are right about that. People continuously exaggerate his performances. Don't get me wrong he was probably a great person and martial artist, but he's not Superman. The fact that he kicked and punched faster than cameras could film in his time can say more about the cameras than about him. People sometimes think he was the greatest martial artist ever. I believe he isn't although he was very skilled.

  • @jlvi13 I'm with you on this opinion. And I stress. Although he was not THE great martial artist OF ALL times ( in terms of physical abilities...!) - He indeed!! was a pioneer in his philosophical understanding of martial arts, and that's what people should give more attention TO.

  • @laviryu Agreed on this one. There are way better martial artists I think, but you can't compare Bruce Lee to Muhammad Ali, because those two were completely different weightclasses. It's like comparing me (I'm 171 cm and 69 kg) with Scooby1961. There just is no chance you can compare me with a big guy like that if it comes to physical strenght and size. Comparing someone to others is stupid and will only get people frustrated.

  • @jlvi13 look again he could hold a 75 pound dumbbell one hand in front of him for 20 secs.

  • @1kevin09 I've read all his achievements, but that doesn't mean they all were correct. I'm very skeptical about this stuff, so you might find me stubborn. You need to be skeptical too with the stuff you read. Some people believe too much, others believe too little.

  • @jlvi13 i guess its not overrating Lee, there are many of Lee's friends in hollywood who actually mentioned this in their interview.

  • @lvdjn No offense intended, but how reliable are friends if you look at it very rationally? They want Lee to be remembered as a hero (he definitely was a great influence on the modern day martial arts world).

  • Thanks

  • Wow you have mucles!!

  • @Rachel20026492 You have muscles too, most people have :)

  • I do have the abs to do this and i can hold it for like 3 seconds but then it really hurts my underarm muscles. Do you have any idea why this is and how i can get rid of these pains?

  • @Jessupie Yes, warm up your forearms/hands and work on overall strenght. 3 seconds is nice, but it is barely a V-sit yet. You'll need to increase your strenght to be able to do this with good form for a long amount of time, but you have already made a very good start, so well done. Keep practising it, but more important do not spend to much time learning one skill as you probably just need to gain strenght and strenght endurance.

  • @jlvi13 thanks for your reply. I just don't know how to increase my underarm strenght. I can do a v-sit with open legs for quite some time, but when i close them it just suddenly starts to hurt. So i feel like i only need to gain arm strenght. I am just figuring out which skill i want to learn next besides this haha. I like the rest of your vids, btw.

  • where did you get that on the wall

  • @seth5192 Bought it at an online store. There are plenty of similar bars to find on internet. Google: wall pull up bar. Or something like that and you'll probably be able to find one.

  • dam i wish i had that strength, how long does it take to get that much strength doing the drills you went through in that video?

  • @oceanzoulou Hard to say as I didn't use most of these techniques. I usually just start practising a skill untill I can do it. That's not really convenient especially not for making a tutorial. The advice: 'just do it' is a bit lame, so after I learn a skill I start to think of techniques that will be helpfull. I could do this skill when I was about 15 or 16 y old, but not as good as I can do it now. It really depends on your beginning strenght and your experience. Think of 1 y min.

  • ok for your info, practise is spelled practice

    good work

  • @jsmmount 'ok' is spelled OK, O.K. or okay. If you correct someone, do it with perfect spelling xD I'm just a foreign kid :)

  • @jsmmount actually, he's right. In proper English, the verb is spelt practise and the noun is spelt practice. Foreigners normally are much better at English than we are! And gymnastics too by the looks - great videos! Have just subscribed. ;-)

  • @garethunderhill Thanks for the sub. Well, English isn't that difficult in general as the use of verbs is actually very easy. The difficult part is that with some words I don't know for sure what letter to use. Like in practise. English is the easiest language out of the 5 I know, but I always can do better I guess. I've written the word 'strength with as 'strenght' for years now and never really noticed it was wrong until a few weeks back :)

  • fair play to you

  • @jlvi13 Yes, planche is very difficult for me, but I'm not too far from achieving also....

wanted to ask one last thing.

When you train these skills... How does your training? And how many push up regular you do ?

  • @Shaolin720 I do about 50-60 push ups a week...

I never really train these skills. I just focus on strenght and eventually I might or might not be able to do the skill.

  • very good, I've been training so well for some time, here are my video of V-sit, L-sti...

    /watch?v=dUuRr5ctzXA

  • @Shaolin720 Well done! You can hold it for a pretty long amount of time!

  • @jlvi13 Thanks to see the video. In the video, I did not want to see how long I the stand of V-sit... But I'll make and send to you see. you training planche?

  • @Shaolin720 Not really training for any skill at the moment. I'm not really into skills anymore. I'll upload a skill tutorial and maybe a demonstration every once in a while, but I'm done with learning skills. I'll just develope my body and there will be a day that I can do full planche push ups. I'm not far away though.

  • Great V-sit progression. Definitely gonna add to my workout routine. Thanks!

  • Jeez man, you're a beast! I'm gonna start working on Vsits and planche pushups.

  • Nice progression ideas, i can do it on parallel bars but working on the floor, these steps sill help

  • Hey maybe your next strength skill tutorial can be one hand 2 finger push ups like Bruce Lee ?

  • @iceblue4u Already did that one. It's somewhere in my skill tutorial playlist. You might want to check it out.

  • You have both strength and flexibility. Your body is a work or art!

  • Are you, or have you ever been, in the gymnastics program in school or elsewhere?

  • @StevenSWM Nope, you?

  • @jlvi13 Nope. They didn't offer it at my school or any of the surrounding schools where I lived. Too bad, cause at the towering height of 5'6", I think I could have excelled at it. LOL I only asked because some of the movements you perform make it seem as though you have a background in it.

  • Jerome do you eat the same meals everyday? Can you do more videos about nutrition and the foods you eat?

  • @masterph200012345678 I'll send you the link. It's on my channel somwhere, not hard to find.

  • @jlvi13 sen me the link to

  • i get cramps in my thigh when i do the l sit any tips?

  • @MrBoombastic1100 Stretch your muscles before doing the skill.

  • Fantastic strength and muscular control, flexibility and agility

  • you need to make a manna tutorial!!!!!

  • @mandulele manna?

  • @jlvi13 yes, here is a video of one,

  • @jlvi13 it will not let me post a link, so just look up manna on youtube and check out the gymnasticbodies video.

  • @mandulele OK, I've seen the skill. I'll try to do that soon. Basicly it's the same as a V-sit, but a little bit difficult.

  • 0:27 i do this too.. in germany its called taschenmesser^^

  • hey man, just asking how did you get to do leg raises?

  • @Homeruler99 Do ab workouts and do some exercises for which you need grip. Start doing knee raises in which you raise your knees towards you chest.

  • like Bruce lee said : i don't believe in school . so that's mean self teaching and home training is good :)

  • @iNdexReview Only if you believe every word that ever crossed Mr. Lee's lips. But I think it doesn't matter if you are selftaught or been to school, as long as you did it well.

  • how many time did u take to do a full splits ?

  • @OoRYD 6 months for the side split, for the front one another 6 months. Something like that, but I believe a little bit longer even!

  • u BEAST!!!

  • Nice tutorial as usual :) Where did you buy the pull up bar? I realy need a wall-mounted one (I live in Denmark) :D

  • @Wowgangz Try to find one online, I did the same.

  • can you please make a tutoriul on how to get more flexible?

  • @jachmed Go to my channel, then press on playlists and scroll down until you'll find 'flexibility'.

  • kan je aljeblieft een video maken over hoe je leniger en flexibiler kan worden?

    later

  • thats awesome stuff. your skills are really multiplying all the time and your your in great shape with alot of real functional strength. The alround athletisism youve developed is very admerable. im now afficially a fan. Jerome wicked!

  • @mosiack91 Thanks man :)
