  • @MoustacheCloud they make the best stock cubes in the world. If you want happen to have a pint of beef stock, lying around; you made yourself, then use that. It's just easy to dissolve one of those in a jug when needed. I would put money on Ramsey using these at home. I'm also pretty sure Marco wouldn't use them in his restaurant lol

  • @suranjangupta22 he didn't season it because you are braising with a stock pot which has salt in it. Therefore if you season the steak, and you're braising for 2- 3 hours in salted stock pot and beer, what do you get? A terribly salty dish. Know what you are working with.

    Hiya: what do you mean the stock pot has salt in it? He didn't season the steak, at least we didn't see that, before he seared off the steak. Nor did he season the onions. By rich beef stock pot, I'm guessing that this is Knorr's idea of a demi glace, and maybe the salt is in the concentrated stock. Is that what you mean? Please and thanks.
