  • Lazlo defended the drug arestees because he felt they were being unfairly punished by our fascist system, and he is right. Legalize it now !!!

  • the first scene, check the guy on the right standing smoking outside the door....looks like Neil Young to me...Neil compiled the soundtrack of classic rock and R&B tunes and played some instrumentals etc for the movie

  • there is no roul duke and roul duke was never a charachter so to speak,

in the book that name is givin as a false name to a hotel. Fear and loathing is not about someone named roul duke.

  • Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas was published by Rolling Stone as written by Raoul Duke even though Hunter wrote it. HST also used the pseudonym for other articles as well.

  • You call the people I defend, Jackoff's! Look at this person who defends evil....repent, repent there is still time!!!!!Love it!

  • Hunter disliked the film but respected and enjoyed Bill Murray's acting in it.

  • I've found that out myself, Martinez. This film is a classic. Almost makes me want to brush-up on my English and grammar and call up a drug dealer. See where it takes me.

  • figured it out: bill murray was being hunter s thompson, and depp was being raul duke. both are amazing for completely different reasons.

  • Hell Yes. Finally someone else who sees the light.

  • wow...the wisdom...you're right! A simple truth too difficult for the rest of these swine to comprehend.

  • And you're right about this films ability to make you watch it over and over. I've watched this flick more than any other. It's strange that way. Salaute to you!

  • There's nothing "weak" about this film. That's just a bunch of mainstream media critical hogwash. It's a caricature piece of an an american literary icon, sure. But it's fucking funny, and a fine precursor to many character study films to follow, i.e.: American Splendor, etc.. Before it's time, I'd say.

  • bill murrary played a great Hunter S. Thompson. The movie was fairly weak, but has it's moments. I still watch it over again cause it makes me feel good, somehow.

  • First!
