You can only cancel the second part of the taunt, the grow happens, but you go back to normal size in an instant and still hear the shrinking sound. You do it by sheilding right before he shrinks I believe.

I doubt it. It's from my understanding that you can taunt cancel by running to a ledge and taunting. But it's like you have to try to fall off for it to work. Obviously people only do it on platforms, though. I think you can also taunt cancel off the revival platform.

run to a ledge and taunt as you hit the end of the ledge it cancles the animation out leaving the noise but it only works with pika, mario, ness, falcon, jiggly and maby one more well it works for all but those are the ones that actually do something.

Yep pretty much. It's funny when people say his opponents suck, but in actually they are amazing. Isai is just THAT GOOD though. I remember when playing him; any single mistake I made I was near zero-deathed for.

It's definitely faster. It also has Z-cancelling unlike brawl. That alone speeds the game up.

The gameplay itself is much slower than melee, and somewhat slower than brawl, but there are enough techniques in ssb that you can remove the downtime from almost any attack. That is why it seems so fast paced.
