Christianity is counter-intuitive to the Laws of Nature, another paradox really in that I find it impossible to accept that the living planet Earth and Mankind's existence lack a Designer.
All-Powerful? All-Knowing? Why then did the Haitian earthquake happen? Pat Robertson said because the Blacks rejected Jesus when they renounced Christian/French rulership. Yet look at all the Christian missionaries and aide workers who also suffered and died. What of the Japanese Tsunami and nuke crisis?
I just saw the siblings on Mike Huckabee. I feel so sorry for what they went through and the loss of their parents, not to mention the rape of a 12-year-old girl. But I'm sorry their parents were Christians who taught them to turn the other cheek.
I would have gone to the execution and told that sack of shit to burn in fucking hell. Ironic, because I can't have it both ways-you have to believe in "Turn the Other Cheek to believe in the Christian Hell.
The paradox is that my inability to reconcile that is due to the intellect imbued upon me owing to my having been created in the image of an all-knowing Jehovah God.
@3martijns Jesus will welcome into Heaven John Couey, the man who raped and murdered precious little Jessica Lunsford, so long as he repents and accepts Him as Lord and Savior. A Buddhist monk who lived a life of self-denial and servitude to others, following Christ's example without converting from Buddhism to Christianity, will suffer an eternity in the Lake Of Fire.

Turning the other cheek does Not mean Not Fighting for what is Right!
Christ believed in Justice - when he saw Evil he Stopped it.

@ThorOdinson14 Forgiveness is Not 'turning the other cheek'.
Bible says We Must Forgive, or We will Not be Forgiven!
Christ Taught Justice, Not Revenge.
Defending oneself and others is Justice.

@ThorOdinson14 You and I are Not Judges of Others, or of GOD! We can Only be Responsible for How We Live!
