I love how this episode pokes fun at the whole Monkees concept with the freeze frame ans stuff. This is my favorite episode of the entire series. I'd love to have seen a Season Three full of these kind of wacky episodes.
The best Monkees episode for sure! What a shame the show ended right after this great crazy episode. I love the breaking of the "fourth wall" throughout this episode and all of the inside gags. Also nice not to hear a laugh track. A classic for sure written and directed by Micky Dolenz.
@storrs19 This was a good one for being the shows final episode. Some of the shows near the end didn't deserve a laugh track. This could've had one...lol
Micky said on the comentary of this movie, he directed this episode by the way, he said that he forgot exactly, but he may have got it from the lord of the rings character name"Frodo"
This episode is probably the most memorable of all the episodes. I've asked several people who watched the series and out of them all, this one with the alien Frodis plant is the 'one' that most folks recall the best. It was kind of 'Outer Limits' in a way, but so-o funny. Thnx for the post!

Micky was making fun of the football head with the eye. This episode was 40 years ahead of it's time. Now people are in a trance with cellphones.
