Well all I can say is if you've caught as many lobster as I have you know when they're big enough to keep just by looking at them never mind when you catch them and feel how BIG they are. Of course you part timers that come here for the "opening lobster season" have to inspect them closely to know if they're legal or not. Yo! I used to dive commercially for these guys and at that time I really bagged lots of lobster.

@WWWNTHEFLORIDAKEYS If this is the way you are teaching people to catch lobsters I do hope you admit that your technique is seriously, seriously flawed. You are seen in the video putting the net and the lobster directly on top of a coral head which breaks its protective membrane and allows for pathogens to enter which could then destroy the entire colony. You need lessons on how to catch lobsters, you certainly should not be teaching, and you should retract and admit your stupid error.

She should also be fined for not measuring the catch before putting it in the bag. Looks like she will boat them and then measure them; which is highly illegal. Also saw no sign of a measuring tool; again illegal. You must have one in your possession while diving.

i watched the vid like three times (mostly because i was amazed at the amount of lobsters u had in the bag) and truthfully between the cameraman/woman and the female diver that alows for 12 lobsters (6 a piece)and to add to that there most likely a person on the boat to make sure everything goes well topside so another 6 (18) and it seems like there were about that many

too many to count, I've been diving for lobster 10 years, and I always get more. You are wasting gas going to the keys, broward and palm beach have bigger lobster and higher catch limits...

ok, first of all, I live in broward. I go to the keys because i have 2100 spots logged in the upper keys alone. Those counties don't have bigger lobster.  Now seriously, what's the biggest lobster you've caught in broward or palm beach? And the keys is WAY more challenging mainly because of the water depth and crowd during mini season. It takes skill to get double limit on the first day, skill that you don't have.

i freedive for my lobster. i don't need any heavy equipment to catch lobster. 16 foot Whaler, net, glove, mask, fins & i'm good to go

first of all, you just said u freedive yet you clearly stated earlier that you would have a BC on before me. I never scuba for lobster, it's a pussy way to catch them. We both have underwater cameras so why don't we both film the best spots and biggest lobster each of us catch and we'll see whose better. And there has to be someway to identify who you are in the video. That will settle it
