damn, you did this good! the timing of the scenes with the changes in the music elements are spot on. I'm going to think of this song now everytime I watch this movie.
i truth I was looking up a travis quote to email to a friend and found this. It reminds me of the first time walking through times square with my folks back in '75. That was dirty and just like the period in "Taxi Driver."
Truly bizarre recollections and associations for a then 10 year old boy.
fuck mate..ive ben watching this for 2 years..sorta sums up peoples choice in music.....they have none.......thats not the way it used to be...u cant even remember what im trying to forget,,,,,,ahhhhhhh it was a dirty day
Have to agree with the previous comments. Been a U2 fan for 25 years. This is one of their deeper (if they can get much deeper) tracks. Well done with the video. I'll definately tune in again.
these days run away like horses over the heels. great readaptation juxtoposed of scenes from Taxi Driver & U2's "Dirty Day". for those who believe bono's image is overrated, consider this. ask billy corgan bout the Smashing Pumpkins or Zach De La Rocha bout Rage Against the Machine. it's hard work. we shall continue to f*ck the mainstream.
Mainstream huh? U2 just write great fucking tunes consistently. It aint there fault so many people like them. Funny that if The Beatles were around now, they would be regarded as mainstream just for making brilliant music thtat everyone loves.
taxi driver is a hero and all heroes must be alone in the quest and they must suffer and die at the end or be alone again a hero does not have a group of buddies or girlfriends he is a loner and thats what makes him cool most people think they are cool but its the loners who stand alone and on the outside are the cool ones
This video a true masterpiece seems to me, and goes very very well with the masterpiece of a song that Dirty Day is.
PS. Sorry for the Yoda spelling =P

Una de mis películas favoritas recreada por una de mis canciones predilectas. Es verdad, no hay nada más glorioso que un sucio día.

5*. Excellent. Love U2 from their Joshua Tree days even though they are too mainstream now. Can't deny good music no matter where it is from.
Keep it up!
