  • Daww!

  • i have a belgian sheepdog...and i raised a lab at the same time as a volunteer service dog trainer with canine partners for life....they are both very good but very different breeds....labs are heavily food motivated and my belgian is very praise motivated...each dog has their own personality and style they want to learn, you have to find it and work with them as best you can....both are great breeds and want to be with you and make you happy...cant go wrong here

  • Wow! Shadow is a beautiful dog! I am thinking of getting a Belgian Sheepdog at some point in the future, and I've definitely done my research as far as the type of training that they need. I have a border collie and 2 jack russells that I have trained and I'm going to school in the fall to become a dog trainer. What a good boy!

  • Shadow is a handsome dog, he was smart but challenging to train. I would not recommend a Belgian Sheepdog to any but an experienced dog owner. Socialization at an early age is key for this breed. I don't know how much one would cost, but you usually get what you pay for! :)

I must agree. I have a belgian sheepdog (Tervueren) who grew up with many other dogs and got to see lots and lots of humans from an early age, but she's still very shy and a little awkward with people and dogs. They're quite wonderful dogs though.

  • My god. Shadow is a beautiful dog.

I'm actually interested in getting a Belgian Shepherd. How much do they usually cost?
