  • I do enjoy LOOKING at all this cool variety of food, but I never eat it.

    One - I'm cheap. Really cheap. And poor. I buy most everything at the Dollar Store.

    Two - I am vegan, for animal rights, not for my health, but I don't worry about every bit of cheese and egg in the ingredients of processed food.

    Three - I don't cook. I eat a lot of processed food. I hate heating up the house and worry about burning it down by forgetting to leave the stove on. Totally unnecessary risk.

  • @mphello Four - I have terrible terrible colitis. Non-stop diarrhea. It does not matter AT ALL what I eat.

    Part of a general pattern of inflammatory disease. I have had rheumatoid arthritis for 22 years, which makes cooking literally a pain for me. Which brings me to

    Five - what I eat has literally NO bearing whatsoever on my health. I feel crappy or great independent of what I eat.

  • Six - organic farmers need to quit focussing on genetically modified organisms (GMO) when they attack Monsanto and instead focus on Monsanto illegally criminally vandalizing farmers' property and violating private property law. THAT is it. Separate out the GMO issue.

    Seven - I agree with singingbee611: the benefit of organic food is the benefit to the environment, which certainly IS extremely important.

  • hi judy, organic foods have not been proven to provide any more health benefits than non organic foods. i'm sorry to say but organic foods are only beneficial to the environment because farmers do not use pesticides or herbicides. pesticides and herbicides have no link to unhealthy benefits. its only the hormones used in raising cattle for beef that it could effect you. you dont have to spend more money on organic food if you dont want to, its more of a personal choice. i love the food choices!

  • no the eggs can be any colour it depends what colour the chicken is so normally dark feathered chickens have brown eggs and white chickens have white eggs doesn't matter about organic or not lol! but yes organic food is good, love this video and you twooo! <3

  • You make it sound like only brown eggs can be organic. White eggs can be organic too, well, they exist. And eggs can be more colors than just brown and white. They can be blue and gray.

  • Organic is free of a lot of the chemicals used on non-organic food, which helps reduce diseases and defects caused by harmful chemicals. Organic food does need to be prepared properly because they can carry more handful bacteria on them which is usually killed by the harmful chemicals on non-organic food. The cost of organic food can become cheaper if more people purchased them over the non-organic food.

  • Why is everyone so afraid of eating rice. Just eat it in small amounts. The chinese have been eating rice for centuries and we live a long time and are generally slim.

  • @WokOverEasy True, plus if you're really worried about it, try brown rice.  It's generally better for you than white rice. :)

  • Hi Judy, Love your diet however ... oranges are not good at night, shrimp is high in cholesterol, processed meat has lots of salt and god knows what else. I recomend adding oat to your diet. Oat meal with fruit and plain yoghurt is the best breakfast! It improves you skin, hair, weight... Try it!

  • just to let you know, drinking lots of water does not change your hair or skin whatsoever then drinking less water. also..to compare eating organic and spending the money to paying for hospital fees is a little dramatic. you arent going to die from non-organic food.

Yes, it's true that water helps flush out toxins out of your body, but there are no proven benefits in how your skin or hair looks if you drank 1 more liter than say, the person beside you. Drinking copious amounts of water for the benefit of better skin or hair is a myth.

  • @adiladldalida I have to disagree...For the past 2-3 months, I have been drinking primarily water and I have noticed a HUGE difference in my skin and my hair is not as hair as it usually is. Water has helped my skin and hair. Everyone's body is different and water has greatly helped me.

  • If you eat enough of fruits and veggies, you definitely don't need to take some vitamin pills! Vitamin pills are even unhealthy, when taken on a long run.

  • @MissKaur527 Shrimp is high in cholesterol. You shouldn't eat too much of it.

  • Noooo, don't keep bananas in the fridge. They really dont't like cold. Exept if you have own place for vegetables and fruits in your fridge that's not as cold as the rest of your fridge.

    Same thing with tomatos and white bread.

  • Organic eggs do not have to be brown coloured. They can be white or any other colour. The colour of the egg is determined by the type of hen. White eggs come from white feathered hens and brown ones from red/brown hens. Otherwise, amazing video! Ya for stirfry!!!

  • Try that Trader Joe's Organic Tomato and Red Pepper soup with some grated cheddar cheese and Trader's Joe's Root Vegetable Chips crushed on top. Yum!

  • Oh, and some veggies need to be cooked for you to get the proper nutrients from them. A good example is spinach!

  • I take the green tea pills too! I don't like the taste of green tea but it's great for your metabolism, so I take those pills because they're just green tea extract. They work best if you take them an hour or more before you work out because it helps you burn more calories since your metabolism speeds up. You shouldn't take them, sit around and except to lose weight, though!

  • Judy, you should move your dairy products from the shelf-door area of the fridge to the shelves that are actually inside the fridge because the temperature near the door of the fridge varies every time you open and close the door. It will help keep your dairy products stay fresh for a longer period of time. :-)

Nature doesn't give us ALL that we need when one has allergies, isn't accessible to the sources year round, has a deficiency or just cant consume enough in one day through just food. You should do a little research on supplements before you start to make accusations on how someone should live their life.

  • Be careful of where you buy your supplements! Vitamin World isn't the best quality~ The three main things that are important for a full body health is a multivitamin, omega's, and an antioxidant. There are many forms and sources of these supplements. The reason she suggested B-150's (which means that a majority of the B vitamins in the complex are 150mg) is because they are great for blood flow, nerves, energy, and skin/hair/nails among other things :-)

  • I LOVE this. I have been more active and eating healthier. I still eat carbs, but a limited amount, mostly whole grain. The best weight lost tool is a balanced diet with plenty of exercise and activity. The secret elixir is water. :) Now drink plenty of that!

  • @itsjudytime I take the class at 24 hour fitness. I live in the OC so I have the advantage of taking the class from the instructor that created it. It would be like training with Tony Horton. If you like to dance, you will love this class. It incorporates dance moves (great music) along with kick boxing. It's a great core work out too! You can make it as intense as you want or modify according to your level. Check out the Turbo Kick website and you will see some clips of the class.

  • Just a note you're not suppose to store your dairy products on the door of the fridge. It's supposed to be kept towards the back of the fridge. The door and front of the fridge has the most variable temperature, especially when you open the fridge a lot you're exposing your dairy to warmth.
