sorry for being snarky- it was uncalled for. I'm kinda jaded because I grew up in Valparaiso and yes my sister even lived above THE FRANKLIN HOUSE and knew everyone in there -- but now the town I loved dearly and called my home is gone!! It's over run with white collar types that don't give a damn about the underlings. I miss my hometown........... King Gyro's is still there though- and the Harley Davidson dealership ain't bad- so I'll come visit- but the town I knew --- that's long gone.
@queen0karaoke Well I loved the Music! That black chick singing the bluesy stuff was Fantastic! Plus I would go anywhere just to eyeball some women! The Vendors are the only part I thought sucked! Over?

I sang on that stage one year, it was very exciting.! If you don't like the popcorn fest- then why bother with it? stay home next time!

Aah, the popcorn fest is always the best part of the year. That's not a holiday. It's just great.
