It seems like Dulli and crew just get better live with age. He's just so damn smooth up on stage, you can't help but get sucked in by his charisma. Also all the little flourishes he puts into the songs to mix it up make you feel like you're listening to something new even though you've heard the song a gagillion times.

I am so jaded about rock music anymore, after decades of devotion. But I somehow stumbled onto the Twilight Singers and find I am actually still able to be profoundly moved by a rock band.  I even like the Afghan Whigs and the Gutter Twins. But it is the Twilight Singers that really do it for me.

ya know, i'm the exact same way. the twilight singers are awesome. i'm like that with at the drive-in, mars volta, and sparta. i'm more of a sparta fan than anything.
