lance will only become more legendary as time moves forward. it will be a long time before someone wins 7 titles, before another american leads the pack, before a man beats the odds and wins it all. he is a legend. and you'd be doing yourself a favor to read his book "its not about the bike"

People need to stop listening to all the bullshit the media brings up and focus on all the good values he has shown including hard work, perserverence and determination. People are so quick to assume things and tear people down. I think the haters need to stop with the tall poppy syndrome and leave him alone.
The term "legitimately" is used very loosly. As if doping put him on a whole nother level; as if others weren't doping....ALL the top guys do it. Millions is spent on research on how to get away with it....and paying off doctors. I am not defending Lance at all. I give way more credit to those who don't dope...but know one knows who they are. Doping put Lance on the SAME level as all of them....it is what it is....he deserves all his wins.

He didn't beat an EPO test. He tested positive something like 8 times for EPO in the 99' tour. From 00' and on he switched to doing blood transfusions which has been proven via his blood values. Hematocrit isn’t supposed to rise just hours upon a 6 plus hour very strenuous cycling event but for some odd reason (doping) Lance DOPEstrong’s do. He’s never won the tour legitimately.
