I don't think there is anybody who would not know him. At least they talk about him at the beginning. I think it's just a question of voice and choice. Of course it's his song, it is just a cover but someone (like me) can prefer this version. And if you think they are killing his music and his ideas, it's not true. Lyrics is the same, words stay as he wrote them and his ideas are still included in it. There is just a little difference that I love - the voice.
