has anybody realized the host is a navy seal and mot people in this show are recon and seals??? where are all the green berets, there were two and there both washed up and they both left. dumb. just dumb
Scott does act like a prick. I dont know if that was his real personality or just for the show. However, if that was his real personality, its easy to see how he'd have pissed off a lot of people. One wonders if anyone really cares if a guy like that goes...lets face it, he did go to Iraq for money and to kill Iraqis...they got him before he got them.
Your comment makes me sick. Trying to justify this mans death. Please give me proof that he went to iraq to kill iraqi people. I bet your going to say, "oh because he's blackwater". He was protecting supplies. Lets face it, you just hate him based on this show, and how he comes across. Wishing someone dead is a dishonorable thing to do.
@Viralvideo1000 I have little doubt you're sick if you support wannabe murderers. You must also be thick if you think a guy who goes heavily armed into Iraq is going there to start a nursery. The bottom line is, no foreign troops/mercenaries have any business in Iraq and are there for profit. Dont display more uneducation by calling iraqis terrorists, they never terrorised anyone.
@muaythairaja "support wannabe murderers". Did i say that? Really? Because in no way did i say i support murderers. Did you even read my comment? I said provide some proof that he went to iraq to kill iraqis. There are both bad and good people in the army and contracting business. Reality. But back up, what you say on this specific person.
@Viralvideo1000 Over 500000 Iraqis, mostly women and children have been killed after the US and allied invasion. Now you tell me Einstein, if the us troops and allied forces aren't responsible, who is? Iraqis sure weren't running around blowing themselves up when I was there before the invasion.
Thats terrible knowing how many iraqi have died, But honestly can you believe that every single soldier & contracter, are bad and cold hearted murderers, who go around shooting every single civilian? Why don'nt you blame the leaders instead? The real culprits.
Why brand one person because of that? I'm sure most servicemen, just go and fight because its their job, and their told to. But regardless i would'nt wish any one to die like scott did. No matter who it was.
@Viralvideo1000 "I'm sure most servicemen, just go and fight because its their job, and their told to." Thats quaint, so if your leader tells u to kick a door down and blast away everyone inside the house, you think you're justified? US troops and allies go to Iraq because they get a damn good bonus to serve in Iraq. They can resign anytime they want, they are not conscripted. They dont because of the money, dont start on the whole job thing. They can go and flip burgers, but they dont do they?
I don'nt know what your trying to proof taking my comment out of context? Its not quaint at all. Its just reality. Don'nt know what you mean by flipping burgers? People a different. Think differently. Pretty obvious. My main point was give me evidence he went to iraq to go for a killing spree. You just went off the subject and started giving me statistics and talking about the "invasion". Anyway, i don'nt care. If u can'nt give me a straight answer then don'nt bother to reply

@Viralvideo1000 You're again mixed up. You need to prove that he did not go to Iraq to kill iraqis. A highly trained fighter goes with a gun to iraq for what exactly? The iraqis passed judgement on scott that day, now you need to show evidence that he was not a killer.
I can'nt seem to reply to you since your channel is blocked or something. Like i said if you can'nt give me a straight answer then don'nt bother to reply.
@Viralvideo1000 You've even used the word invasion in the vidoe you made as a tribute to the Blackwater terrorists, so why do you object when I use the word?
even though scott was probably the biggest asshole in the competition, the way he went out in iraq was bullshit. but bad decision-making on the part of his team leader got them all killed. too bad scott didn't use his big mouth to convince whoever lead that fatal run to NOT do it. que sera, sera, i guess.
You make me sick if you truly feel that Scott dying was a good thing. If you feel that, you miss the whole point of it all and your SAS would say the same thing. Just b/c you don't like the guy (I didn't either) doesn't mean you wish his death by OpFor in real life. That's just low and dishonorable.
@fritzkat uh... ok. Why, because I just defended him? Did you even read my response? So now I have to like everyone and if not they will "rag doll" me (I'm assuming that means beat me up... don't even really know what that means). Whatever 'tard.
I'm surprised the SEALs didn't win the marksman challenge. SEALs are outstanding athletes, but I thought they also received a lot of marksman training. Guess not.
He is agressive and I would gladly have him on MY team. There is a reason he is the youngest man to become a SEAL. He was a model SEAL. A troublemaker like Richard Marcinko before him.
He was typical sociopath. When he did something morally good he did it only for the sake of favour. He was just that kind of guy who would run over the kid with hummer without any hesitation or remorse. Watch the part where he gets disciplined by Boesch; he cries like a baby. Now what kind of professional handles his stress that way??? Would you really like to have such a teen angst appearing in your team??
His dad committed suicide when he was eight years old and he was the last person to talk to him. People only change after tramatic experience. I bet he wasn't always like this but he changed. I bet he saw his grandfather a lot after his dad died so I can see why he would "cry".
I know about Scott Helvenston's horrible death, and I would not wish anyone to die that way. Still, this is a game, not war. The people he's harassing are his comrades, not enemies. The SEAL ethos says, "I serve with honor on and off the battlefield. The ability to control my emotions and my actions, regardless of circumstance, sets me apart from other men. Uncompromising integrity is my standard. My character and honor are steadfast."
Scott Helvenston, 38, a former U.S. Navy SEAL who was one of the principal stars of the USA Television reality series Combat Missions, has been identified as one of the four Americans who were killed and then abused after death in an ambush by Iraqi terrorists in Fallujah, Iraq on March 31.
yea man its sad scott helvenston died in fallujah in a fucked up mission to deliver pots n pans for a private security blackwater, he died taking ashort cut through fallujah undermanned, and was ambushed shot killed burnt cut up then hung on a bridge read about it its sad then teh marines went in n kicked der ass oohh rah
Scott Helvenston (1965-March 31, 2004) was a former United States Navy SEAL, and worked as a civilian contractor when he was killed while employed by private military contractor Blackwater Security in Iraq.
