  • That's a very tall pole... wow.

  • So, sometimes they do the alert, and other times they do attack?

  • @TspesVladD It alternates from one month to the next, one month it's alert, then the next is attack and repeats

  • @hen7713 WOAH! That is the first P50 ive ever seen rotate while doing attack!

  • These are my favorite sirens, they have such a scary sound to them!

  • @EVERYTHINGus3, they're my favoirte too. They do sounds scary, especially the wind down. They sound almost identical to 8/12 port allertors.

  • one siren you cannot forget is the bid red daddy chrysler siren

  • Your recordings are very good. I wonder if sometime you might record the dual tone Thunderbolt 1000T in Waukegan on York House Rd. I lived near it for 6 years and never managed to record it but it was still active the last time I was up there during a TW in 2008.

  • I love how it keeps rotating while sounding in attack. That is how it REALLY should be to my opinion.

  • This is one of your best recordings. I really love the wind down on this siren. It would be awesome to see this siren going off for a tornado warning.

  • Very cool! Captures the hellish death scream of the T-135 very nicely!

  • LOL

  • wahts the interval between the high and low tones

  • Awesome video. You seemed really close to it this time. It's been over a year since we've seen this siren. Nice to see it again. It sounds kind of strange as it's winding down. Very spooky!

  • Nice P-50.

  • Great sounding P-50! :)

  • I'm confused..... your descrip says it doesn't stop rotating after the siren winds down....... but this one did.....???

  • Nevermind!!!!!!!

  • i'll explain ^_^

there is a different wind downs for these types of sirens ^_^

there is the continuation wind down and the shutting down wind down ^_^

the continuation wind down is when the siren winds down while rotating to continue it's test but the shut down wind down is when the siren test is finished that it winds down and stops rotating for a full shut down ^_^

man this is the most funniest comment i've ever posted LOL !!! ... but at least this is the closest way to explain it XD !!!

  • there is also other sirens which does the shut down wind down ( better make it short word LOL ) ... ok the S.D.W.D LOL !!!! ... also happens to other sirens while it still continues it's test and others don't do that like this one ^_^

if you know what does the siren do between those 2 actions you'll get what i mean ^_^

  • He's talking about as it's winding down each cycle of attack.

  • Cool echoes! Well done, as always.

  • I have seen a picture on a site some were of a man servicing a P-50. The siren looked gigantic!

Must be one of the loudest sirens ever made! Is it an 8/12 port?

  • Yes, they are 8/12 port.

  • Was this for a call or a test?

  • The Kenosha FDs do not use sirens for fire calls, and this was for a test.

  • @hen7713, thanks. It would be really cool, if they tested them for three minutes.

  • nice!
