I hate to say it, but I really hate all the SNES(super) Star Wars games. They were just... crap. For one, each game was pretty much the same exact game, they just switched enemies and color palettes. Compare level 1 from all three games. It's the same level.

Besides that, I always found myself eventually just giving up trying to kill the endlessly spawning enemies and doing my best to just charge through them, taking as little damage as I could, until I finally reached the end of the level.

Quite true (RE: W/O Nintendo there would be no 360/PS3). The NES is what revitalized the video game industry in North America. Without it, we would probably have video games, but we would not be as far along as we are. Why would companies want to invest in a "kids" product? Nintendo made video games "cool", but more importantly they made them profitable...

BTW, I am not a Nintendo fanboy. I actually use my 360 and PS3 whereas my Wii collects dust.

The only reason there is a Playstation is because Nintendo didn't like the idea that they weren't making any money off using CDs. Sony would be. There was going to be a Sony/Nintendo, but NIntendo wanted to continue making money off cartridge sales.
