  • We used to sing, "Traveling on speed, I'm a reefer man." lol

  • I'm a Hendrix freek. And as I look at Jimi's picture, what his dad feels when he sees his sons face once again. Knowing he's gone, but to us fans, he is still VERY MUCH ALIVE. Jimi is, THE MAN.

  • hendrix plays the best version of this live at woodstock where he plays a smashing performance

  • @Sunwatch2012 and both musicians had the most utmost respect and admiration infact hendrix asked whether he could meet clapton when chas chandler took him to england

  • @Sunwatch2012 i totally agree wuth most of that

but clapton is a true bluesmen hendrix was more of a crazy psychodelic bad ass funk machine that could blitz any music he wanted to play including blues

  • I am pretty sure it is 'Message Of Love'

  • great great GREAT song :o)

  • this song turn me on!

  • Man I wonder why does this song make me think of the movie boogie nights.

  • HOW HOT CAN HOT GET.NOT AS HOT AS THIS ONE REACHES.

  • great stuff

  • Oh and this is the Band of Gypsies!

  • I just love this....Buddy Miles singing background vocals....

  • Great song....thanks for posting this version!

  • i uploaded this when i was 15 :D

  • @mokadesx props to you for uploading this :o)

  • There are things people still discover about him, and it is fascinating. Without Jimmi on this planet there wouldnt be and rock and roll, or any electrical excitement in every genre. When you compare music of other artists in that time, it was depressing crap. Jimi made brought it to another lever

  • @rob2049 lol...you obviously havent listened to much classic rock....becuz without the beatles we'd be nowhere..and dont forget bout the doors..the who...jefferson airplane..and so many other greats from that time

  • @x420xJaron Naturally if I follow Hendrix then I am familiar with that era. There were brilliant music being made. As a matter a fact Jimmi recreated some of them (ex. Hey Joe, KIlling floor). Every mainstream music from the past impacted what we listen to today. Jimi had every component to make him a legend from many angles. But his music reached into the future, and had the biggest impact. I know there are kids out there that get hooked on Hendrix, try the beatles, it will be noise..

  • i c u got this from The Jimi Hendrix experience box set, great song

  • @mnm876 How did you see that?

  • @JimmyPage97 dude its from jimi hendrix experince box set , it has all his unreleased tracks and alt. tracks

  • @mnm876 You didn't see that though.

  • Genious!! Best musician that ever lived...

  • @rob2049 That doesn't include musicians that are alive

  • @JimmyPage97 Jimi stands alone when it comes to guitar playing. There are so many factors to make him greatest, no musician can reach that level. I like Jimi Page, he is a legend, but Jimi Hendrix IS MUSIC

  • @rob2049 I agree with the standing alone part. But that's about it.

  • Man, live was cool but I LOVE this version!

  • What album is this studio version from? Its not from Axis Bold as Love and i not Band of gypsys cause thats the live version.

  • que pedazo de version

  • j'ai un priapisme ...

  • 'crash landing' very fine... tvm

  • RIP JIMI YOUR MESSEGE IS HEARD!!!

  • Jimi Hendrix 40 years gone today. Rest in Peace :'-(

  • Cool photos!

  • Crash Landing songs are awesome,

  • wow i gotta get this cd love him with those backup vocals awesome

  • he should solo the whole song

  • thanx for posting this studio version. great and powerful as the gypsys live version may be (and it is), I always felt his solo ran a little too long and out of control maybe (dare I say so?:)

  • @MrThomasdrewsen hey out off control is what made jimi famous thanx for commenting dude

  • @mokadesx Haha, yeah - I see your point:).. I just think he went out of control in better ways on other live tracks. Oh well.. la-di-daaah & blablaah on my part, i guess:)

  • @mokadesx Control is one of many factors that play into Hendrix's Fame.

  • @MrThomasdrewsen Just turn the volume down really really low for a little bit when you get bored. Then turn it back up when you want to listen again.

  • @MrThomasdrewsen It is...I always liked the live a lot better, but with Jimi its yin and yang. His live stuff was so heavy but his studio is more smooth and later stuff was really soulful....I liked the version at Woodstock :D

  • @MrThomasdrewsen lets be realistic......jimmy was never supposed to record anything in the studio.........jimmy live is like....not sure i found the right expression...amazing......

  • LOVE IT. But why all the pictures from Bold As Love?

  • @FiddlesticksMcGraw lol idk it was on my pc in that time :)

  • @mokadesx Really love this comment - brings a smile to my face every time I read it!! Thanks for posting the piece. I still much prefer the Band of Gypsies version, but each to their own.

  • @FiddlesticksMcGraw Why not

  • many thanks for uploading, mokadesx!

  • @Kynatics spreading the love man

  • jimi hendrix is a RELIGION !!!!!!

  • @bluelibra65 yeah he was just genuis all fields so good in comin through with lyrics

  • @bluelibra65 Jimi is more than Religion. Way more.

  • @JimmyPage97 Right on, calling Jimi a religion is practically an insult. Religion is practically the opposite of what Jimi aimed for - he wanted peace, love and unity. Good music and good man.

  • @KidsWithGuns1992 Well I don't think religion at in its "raw"-ist form is a problem. Religion is like anything, too much of it is too much of it.

  • @bluelibra65 Amen man. People tell me why are you so obsessed with his music...I tell them listening to Jimi...it isn't just music, but its a lifestyle and philosiphy..It changes your whole outlook on life..

Then they look at me like a freak.

But thats ok, I'd rather be a freak with good taste in sounds than have to listen to some of the ish nowdays haha...

    Peace man.

  • @ZeppelinFan6980 When he arrived in the UK, he turned the music scene on its head. Even his peers admired him. The press described him as a black Elvis. He was fresh and new and the British kids loved him for it. Most from that era cant remember where they were when Kennedy died, but his fans can remember where they were when Jimi died. He was light years ahead of everybody else, a unique talent thats without equal, even today.

  • I LOVE this song ! Thanks for posting.

  • @ennui406 thanks

  • yay

  • Awesome, Awesome, Awesome
