Unfortunately I don't know too much about them, but Romania were an early to mid-1990's New Wave-inspired duo based in the Washington DC area and at one time signed to Teenbeat Records. They were playing 80's-style synth-based music (akin to Gary Numan or Flock of Seagulls) long before the current revival of that genre ever happened.
