I agree that they should've had that dog on a leash. But...have you looked at Cesar Milan? Red man's dog Daddy helps him with many of his cases and he's a pitbull. Pitbulls are not in fact vicious by nature. You really don't know much about dogs do you? If you don't train them, discipline them and socialize them properly, they turn out to be nuts. We lazy humans fail to help them to be balanced. It's sad that people just can't own up to the shit they caused.

Exactly. I live in sweden and I´ve been a pitbullowner for 12 years. We´ve had several other breeds, and the pitbull is the only breed that I feel fits me. And I totally agree with you on your point 5. When I got my dog (rescued her at age 7 months) alot of ppl around me talked bad around the breed, now 12 yrs later, they praise the breed, some have pits on their own. Plus, my dog has cured dogphobia in 4 cases. That´s the pitbull for you :) You get what you put in as an ownwer.

I understand what you're saying,some people have these dogs as an extension of their masculinity.I train dogs and am aware of what they can do without proper training and I guarantee you most people that own these dogs are irresponsible,I know I see them all the time.Some people feed their dog gun powder to make them mean,this eats the lining of their stomach causing them to have constant pain.If I see a black kid with a pit I wouldn't trust the dog either.

I agree. I had a dog when I was in Trinidad and it never saw the inside of my house. The same goes for every other dog in the neighbourhood. I wasn't a fan of pets but I got it when I was about 4 years old and had no choice but to take care of it.
I remember my grandmother got another dog and it used to eat the ticks off its skin and sometimes even eat its own excretions. We ended up letting it loose near a forested area late one night.
