Even though I'm a HUGE fan of 007, and the fact that most others think this is the single worst (which is an understatement!) Bond film ever made, I've never seen this whole film. But, this is one of the best stunts in Bond history, even though this scene does not make any sence whatsoever, and he fact it has the invisible Aston Martin.

You see the Skidoo at the beginning? Well my daddy worked on the electronic component inside it that make the thing switch to reverse (electronically so it takes less heavy pieces than the models that does so mechanically)... Yeah, he always brag about it haha!

But this movie was a little akward though, even if the beginning wasn't so bad; too much useless gadgets, that Graves guy sucked, his plan and face changes also did... At least the diamond faced bad guy is cool

@LkOutMtnMan - are we talking the old Lyons-designed XJ6? Because the old XK-series straight six was an epic engine. The V12-derived AJ6 in the XJ40/X300 was good too. Putting a V6 in the X350 seemed like a letdown, though.

I found a 67 XKE when I was senior in high school for $1800 which was a tidy sum in 1968, how I wanted that car! Buddy of mine that worked full time after school bought it. It was fast for it's time!

As silly as this film is; it's such a fun send-off to the over-the-top 'Bond and Beyond' films. More gadgets than ever, more puns than ever and a plot that's just plain outrageous...the ONLY way they could have followed this one up would have been with Casino Royale and they did just that. Knowing that helps me enjoy Die Another Day for what it is: a fun-filled sendoff that you shouldn't take seriously.

Do you know what, the ONLY!!!!! Thing I didn't like about this Car Chase, was the fact that he used every single gadget like he knew he needed them, when he shot the missiles, Bond shot his missiles at the front, and then when the bad guy shot the hurling bombs out hte trunk, Bond used his auto tracking guns. I just don't see any reason for it and it makes it appear fake and staged! But as in Tomorrow Never Dies, it's done with taste and style, such as the wire cutters in the logo lmao classic
