I lked this season but the 'cartel treasure' storyline ended halfway through the season with not much of a conclusion to that they could have blown the budget on that one to make it good. I liked Pamela she was straight talking and very smart and she was just normal i think she could have lasted one more season.

@MrInmyopinion This was to have been the season that it was revealed that Julia was working for the cartel all along, and that was to have explained why Julia went psycho all of a sudden, and that was to have been her way "out" of the murder charges of having killed Carlo Agretti, and Jacqueline Perrault. But all was scrapped because of a outcry involving the entire supposed"nazi" war criminal angle.For christ's sake. It was just a storyline, on a tv show.

Sadly, I live in America and we don't get that :( Our equivalent, I suppose, is SoapNet, which used to air FC. However, around the time I got the channel, they stopped playing it. Go figure. I would love it if they would release FC on DVD here in the US, but so far, no luck.

lornafan1, the first version of season 4's opening credits didn't have Abby Dalton in it because Julia 'died' at the end of season 4. It wasn't until after the big reveal that she was put into this, the second version.

i got to see the series a couple of years ago when soapnet ran the entire series daily it was a blast from the past to me one of the most creative night time serials with a awesome cast throughout the run of the series and the theme music especially last two seasons was the best

80's airwaves. Dallas was a boring show.

I love the Falcon Crest theme (not the version in the last season or two---ughhh!!)---I think only the Dallas theme has it beat amongst the night-time soaps of the 80s & 90s.Speaking of Paul Freeman,wasn't he also the Nazi guy in Raiders Of The Lost Ark?If not,he has a twin!I always thought the Nazi storyline ended rather abruptly,now I know why.Thanks kbirdusa for the post!

The first 6 seasons were good, season 7 was so bad with all that stuff and bad storylines that the rest of the show feel not right!

Ah, the "Nazi treasure is hidden under Falcon Crest" era. This was a actually a pretty good story, but CBS hated it and ordered the producers to drop it midseason. Abby Dalton and Paul Freeman were hurriedly written out, the underground cave where the treasure was hidden collapsed without anyone recovering it, and no one mentioned it again. That story got replaced by this lame thing where Anne Archer wanted revenge against Angela for destroying her father.
