that answers my question, u can use it for gaming :D its wery cheap, and this is perfect for me because i am about to buy a home thather system and new computer, so it world be great to use a computer as the bd player, reciever
This one looks more COOLER i can call this a complete HTPC Solution :) its really what i am looking for i am satisfied with it if i buy it i don`t need to buy any accessory except to mess with the HDD + Ram i want a fully blown 4GB Ram + 2 WD 500GB in Raid 0 and then call it a day :)
And the audio codec upgrade to Realtek ALC890B which is 110dB audio quality with Blu-ray audio support. And it can support one more HDD with RAID0 or RAID1.
Does this pass TrueHD and DTS Master Audio over HDMI? Or decode the above to LPCM?
I would expect to hook it up to AV Receiver AMP using HDMI. Is this fully featured, or does it downsample HD audio over the HDMI?

There's no real difference between the original ION330 and the ION330HT !!
ASRock bundle in a MCE Remote, but if you have the original ION330 with a MCE Remote, then they're the same.
I wouldn't run a HTPC over WiFi.
The only other differences are the EU-regulated power consumption, and external eSata connection.
