There is no way he races that, consider the bodykit and speakers on that car. No it didnt, i was there, and right in front of the car when it happened.....

the wrist pin on the piston disintergrated, making the piston shoot up into the head lifting it, and the rod punching a hole in the water jacket at the same time.

If you care to search supraforums under TX2K9 you'll see videos and photos of the event as well as the photos of the remnants of the car.

Mind you this car was on a stock bottom end with 60k miles on it and it made 1200hp using a GT45R

@Red97Avenger because this was darins personal car. And one of many setups Darin has tested his tuning on before using similar setups in customers cars.

This 1200hp number was achieved using E85 and 2000cc Injector Dynamics injectors.

He wanted to see exactly how aggressive he could get his tuning on E85 on a stock bottom end.

Just because he works at Titan does not mean he HAS to use parts developed or built by Titan.

He has two supras BTW.
