i really dont understand the mothers behaviour, because no matter what you feel about one person you never let them in again when they abused your child!!!! how can she deal with that ?????

it was probably because that she wants to believe that he did what he said - she has HOPE that he changed, and that it was only becuase of the beer that he did what he did and that he really loved her boys.... there's also that she has NO money what-so-ever.... so she would almost have no choice in the matter ---- its basically take him back or be homeless

But, what about the family members that they stayed with in the beginning of the movie? I'm sure that in this situation they would have been happy to lend a hand again if it would mean the boys would be safe.

I recall the days we kids would watch the same movie over & over again, as like is told in this clip, they never made you leave between showings.
Seen this movie a thousand times, but never noticed until now they had a clip of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in it, lol
