This scene was really awesome, because at the time I thought for a second that maybe they actually killed Zelda, but the whole scene is rendered meaningless when you find out that she just teleported to Ganon or something stupid like that.

I thought it was that Zelda gave Midna the ability to survive in the light, thus making it so her light injuries never happened, & when Zelda could not survive in the light, she vanished too. And when Midna used the Fused Shadows, she was able to survive in the light on her own, thus returning Zelda.

This is just my theory; you don't have to believe it.

Zelda gave Midna the Triforce of Wisdom. Since Zelda doesn't have it anymore she became how everyone else was. Once Hyrule Castle was restored, Zelda was able to come back.

wrong,she gave all her power to minda but when minda got the fused shadows(or mabye sols) powers back she replaced her power with them and gave her power back to zelda

then ganon took over zelda

Its a bit annoying how the game never explains just how Zelda gets her Body back. Maybe ganondorf made her a new one, but why would he do that?
