Kai energy is not compatible with boo. Fat boo can only get stronger by accessing his anger which makes him more evil. Grey boo eats fat boo and no longer has the need to get angry because the more evil side is dominent.

Actually, Saiyans DO have limits. Everything in DBZ has a breaking point as far as power is concerned. Gohan's limit was far higher then Goku's or Vegeta's, which is why the Old Kai chose him. Mystic Gohan is simply Gohan pushed to the edge of his power. As it stands, he was the strongest non-fused character. Goku's limit let him use SSJ3 effectively while dead, but while alive, his body was eating more energy to keep the form then it was putting out.

But you have forgotten about the Zenkai, the Saiyan exclusive ability that allows them to come back stronger after near death experiences. Hypothetically, a Saiyan could endure near-death situations every day of his or her life from birth until death and grow well past his or her limits.
This, in theory, would make them limitless beings.

@death 2603 that old was about to die so to wake both krillin and gohan he probably only unlocked some, plus with saiyans being so strong he probably couldn't find all the potential I mean there is great ape all the ssj forms golden great apes and then the maybe rumored or never released ssj forms in db angel fire if such a thing was ever going to exist but either way just to much for an old dieng fat namek make sense :)

Gohan wouldve been the strongest at the end, but at the time in Japan, Goku was an alltime favorite, Toriyama had to adjust the story several time which explains the lack of explanation.
Gohan's power was released in its full extent, doesnt need a ki consuming transformation like ssj3 goku. Its the same story as cell saga, vegeta needs to transform, gohan doesnt, he can ascend to ssj2 from his natural ssj form.Mystic could be described as natural ssj3.

Why "Z" sword... It has nothing to do with the show... And Goku and group Are called the Z warriors by the humans in the cell saga which already explains why the name of the show is Dragon ball "Z"...Why Z sword?

So Vegeta who is such a hard worker, dedicated to his training and determined to beat Goku and other opponents gets pushed behind while Gohan who never trained for 7 years get a sudden power boost and "unlock" his true potential?
