I just saw the movie, I liked it but it kind of felt like the whole thing was staged and Bret was in on it the whole time. Vince would have had to give his permission to appear in the film which I doubt he would have done if the screwjob was real.

@BillyBetYT Exactly what I thought after watching it, not calling it out, but I have my doubts. Imagine getting fired from a Spielberg film, punching him in the face, and then releasing a film with a bunch of back stage footage plus shots from his licensed film (and not just the documentary footage but actual WWF footage) without getting sued. Plus the whole film feels like a build up to it, even taking into account that they just edited it that way, some footage was almost too perfect/lucky.

Theres alot of ways to look at this movie i mean it shows alot and how much wrestling is real mentally.You can see things through brets eyes or vinces and see the faults in each others ideals.just felt weird bret just leaving the wwf it seemed like he was gonna stay but he just took a quick jump besides all that everything bad happend to him after he got screwed by vince his brother died and he got a concussion by goldberg that ended his wrestling career now thats depressing

wrestling with shadows was A DOZEN TIMES better than bret's later documentary (screweD: THE BEST THERE IS ,THE BEST THERE WAS AND TRHE BEST THERE EVER WILL BE)which was just too long over streached .this above is one of the best documentaries i have ever seen.

I got the VHS in about 2001 i love it. Why couldnt Vince just let the match end in a no contest and let Bret forfeit the title the next day, everything wouldve been much more peaceful for Bret's departure.

I am 23 and I no longer watch wrestling. I watched it every monday from 93-99. After Bret pretty much left WWF, I didnt care to watch anymore. I havent even watched a whole Raw show in over 9 years. I could care less about it. Even if you are like me, you should really buy this. Its a great watch. I just ordered it and have it overnight shipping. I Bret and above all, wrestling at this time. Also the Owen Hart DVD is not just a plus but a great hour worth of Owens life. Its amazing.

Respect! You got the point! im now 22, when i was a little kid, i loved to watch week after week Bret Hart in Action, cuz he is and was the only person that i look forward. Wrestling from the 90's - 2001/2002 was at his best. After that and the PG Turn of the WWE, they began 2 suck EXTREMLY with their bullshit boring storylines and matches! If you ask me what the best match after 2001 was, i can tell ya only 1 : Undertaker vs HBK (WM25) this year! What a shame 4 a company that made Wrestling big
