  • I'm so fuking tired of these " stop killing the animal people", Ive been studying so much deeper problems, which I hope one day I help solving, related to lost of animal biodiversity and such, and these people are arguing with a men only because he lieks hunting...

  • Hahahaha this is some good shit. We do this in idaho too

  • can i ask a question? why didnt u shoot that HUGE buck behind her

  • hehe nice shot

  • jerk u wouldn't like it if u got shot

  • Im assuming you dont eat meat. If you do, consider the hypocrisy of condemning someone for killing an animal. Meat does not grow on trees wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

  • Vegan's beliefs are hypocrisy in themselves. They don't eat meat because they don't believe in the death of one creature for the survival of another, yet that's the natural cycle of life for a good majority of animals. If it were wrong, would most animals instinctively do it? Such ignorance.

  • kultivater: preaching to the choir.

  • neither would you retard. think about it.

  • wheres your head at?

  • @tperedfox up his ass lol

  • I am grateful the hunter had the skill to make it as painless as it was.

Sure glad I don't eat meat anymore, though.

  • In my state your allowed 5 deer total a year, and only 2 can be bucks.

  • And how do they check it?

  • maybe h didnt have a buck tag and fuck anti hunters

  • did he not see the huge ass buck behind the doe lol

  • Well, in that case, hunting is something I will have to tolerate. Feeding your family is important, I know, but I just hate when people desire to kill for sport.

  • OOPS! HA! HOMONYM!

You know, sorry about my old little saying...

    GOOD FOR YOU!!!

Iim so pleased to see that you go out and kill deer for pleasure, laugh move on, and forget about any life that was once held within it's flesh.

Besides, by supporting factory farming, you're supporting cruelty to animals

    AND THAT'S MY MAIN GOAL:

    TO INCREASE ANIMAL CRUELTY!

    (not)

  • I do find pleasure in hunting for my family. I do occasionally laugh, I rarely just "move on", and that flesh you speak of it gives life to me and my family. I assure this deer felt no pain. It was happy one minute and grave yard dead the next. Unlike the cattle that stand in line watching there buddies get bludgened to death awaiting their turn.

  • lmfao

    HEADSHOT!

  • lmao your calling someone a dumbass and you cant spell "MEAT" the stupidity on here is endless ....................

  • I can afford all the store bought meat I want. I choose to eat wild meat because it's delicious and nutritious. Besides it's more fun to kill what I eat than run to kroger and pick it up.

  • what is the name of this song? Please?

  • those MOFos have cwd...

  • I shot my first deer, (doe) in the head from the side. But if it is a buck, dont shoot the doe! And shoot bucks in the heart.

  • omfg y dident u shoot the buck??

  • yeah its a head shot, keep pausing and playing really quick, 3 pause frames at 1:31 the first all you can see is the head blown back and a ploom of smoke, the third you can see flesh rip open on its spine, the only logical explination for this is either the bullets were failsafe and darted off, or you hit the skull and it ricochet and exited out the spine. Anway, these are white tail were talking about, there like the weakest deer made. You could blow its jaw off, ive seen this done to sambar.

  • strike that, i watched it again, the bellet clen knocked the jaw off, what we see as the white pice that looks like the flesh woiund to its spine is actually part of its brains

  • The jaw was not knocked off. I shot her just above and closer to center of her right eye. The top of her head was gone. The "spine wound" you speak of is a chunk of brain. In the original video if you slow it down with better deffinition you can see pieces of bone and brain falling into the shot a full 3 seconds after she hits the ground.

  • The chance of blowing the jaw off is similar to 0. The important thing is only to shoot when the head is facing you. Even if you shoot in the mouth then, the bullet goes straight through the head. Hope i could help

  • WITH A BADASS BUCK LIKE THAT!!! no way! did you have a tag for a buck???

  • I just want to know why you didn't shoot that buck, Also why shoot the Doe and spook the buck?

  • holy crap

  • That deer got pwned

  • No thats definately a spine shot .

  • Well, I watched it many more times. It could be a chunk of brain on its spine.

  • I assure you that your second assumption is true. Her head looked like one of those ashtrays you used to make at scout camp.

  • This is not a head shot. It is a spine shot.

Watch the center of the back real close..

  • I Need The Name of that song and who its by ASAP lol niice shot, im a full beleive in clean head shots way more humane if you can do it

  • Old school....Blood Hound Gang, "Hold Your Head Up High and Blow Your Brains Out"

  • i see were ur comin from but what if you blow off the jaw or something! I just aim for the heart

  • Great Shot, here in australia we dont have the chance to see that many deer in the one spot, ive been going sambar hunting for 9 years and only every dropped one stag(buck) and a fully grown hind(doe).

  • why would you shoot that doe when a big buck was standing behind her? Why not shoot the buck?

  • probably didnt have a tag for the buck

  • That is not a mature buck. He's only about 2 1/2. We only take bucks starting at about 5 1/2 years old. There's no sense in killing a buck just to kill one.

  • Nice shot. If you've got the skills to hit them in the head like that, go for it. Us mere mortals will stick with aiming for the boiler room. I get few enough chances to hunt large game. So I stick with the plain old vanilla shots that mean I am more likely to bring home the meat. Besides, I don't lose that much with meat with a through and through to the heart and lungs. I don't eat those anyway...

  • im so jelous of all you who live in like texas and that, i live in a big city n get away like 3 times a year to the country side and hunt and shoot a few rabbits. I envy you so bad lol

  • nice headshot...i use a 7mm at 380yards...headshot..

  • Ok, it was a good shot, but only at a hundred yards, I've shot four deer this season 175 yards, 315,332,and yes 436 yards, my wife was right beside me and all measurments were from a simmons range finder after the shots. You hit one at 300 plus in the head And I Too would be impressed. Not only that the 3 longer shots were made within a total of about 2min. All I used was a 30-06 with a sitting bench (about 4 inches high) I placed under the gun stock. Again good shot, but short.

  • I'll work on that, and you work on getting one on video. I promise you that when you do you'll be hooked! It adds a whole new rush. Which do you want 175, 315, 332, or 436. Not to sound cocky just too ignorant to back down from a challenge. Hitting a deer at 400 no prob. Hitting a deer in the noggin at 400, now that's a challenge.

  • I'd love to, there's only a few problems with that. I don't have a video recorder, second where I live we only get a short period of time to hunt. The season ended 1/6/08. It'll be next dec. before I get another go at it.

  • "All in one shot", or "Dead ahead", or "Deadly Impact", man can you shoot. I can only shoot like that with a target rifle and a rest. Very nice shot. ***** I shoot my deer mostly behind the shoulder, but when a good neck or head shot makes itself accessable...Bang flop...like a light switch!

Good display of "The Quickest Kill"...man do you got choices of titles! I agree, don't take the shot if you don't feel capable!

  • Thanks friend. Harris Bipod makes all the difference in the world. I highly recomend it.

  • why didn't you shoot the buck behinde it?

  • I agree with the sentiment. Language is a little strong.

  • Well.. i hunt deer and i dont see the reason to shoot them in the head i mean common seriously thats just odd :p but yeah wut ever floats ur boat

  • If you hunt and hunt often you can't tell me that there's any sport in shooting a deer at 100 yards with a scoped rifle. You go out alone try to video a head shot and it'll feel like the first time you hunted again. It's all about upping your game.

  • Well depends if your a meat hunter or a trophy hunter im a meat hunter so this is the easiest way to do it.

  • Yeah shootin' your 180 12 point in the head probably not a good idea. good on you Cody.

  • Nice shooting!

  • buy your meat at the store like normal people...you should be ashamed at your gun toting/animal killing...as humans we're above that!

  • as humans? My friend...because of that we are humans. I'm sure your great great great grandpa just ran down to the Kroeger and bought a pack of Deli Select. I think not. Without killing we would not exist. I don't think condemnation is in order because I'd rather go harvest my dinner than have it bludgened to death by strangers.

  • I believe that you are a dirty shirted beer drinking bubba, but a pretty good shot none the less.

  • Sir, I do not drink and my wife does laundry three times a week. Being a Baptist minister I resent that statement. Thank you also for the compliment. I honed my set of skills as a small child shooting kittens.

  • Baptist ministers listen to strange music these days.... That aside, I know what you mean about honing your skills. Myself having grown up on the mean streets of 'Big A Town', the mantra was get tough or die.

  • Yeah, your beer drinkin' bubba comment gave you away.

  • Why don't you just shoot them in the shoulder?

  • Head shots destroy no usable meat and they provide alot more entertainment. Head shots are either a clean miss or extremely fatal. You miss a shoulder shot by just a little and you're tracking or losing an animal.

  • your wrong! lol.i shot a doe in the head. ripped its jaw off. it lived for another shot.and i felt terrible after doing it. lol

  • If you shoot them in the nose or below the bottom of the ear yes there is a high likelyhood of blowing their jaw off. I encourage you to try again. Shot placement is key. If you're not absolutely positive you can hit them in the top or back of the head, in the ear, or in the eye do not shoot them in the head. You've got to know where your gun's shooting and be able to shoot the damn thing.

  • Its not that, its that theres a higher chance of really damaging the deer where it wont survive and wont be killed right away after the shot. I'd much rather just shoot them in the chest, not like you're losing tons of meat if any, and besides you have a target the size of a dinner plate compared to one the size of a tennis ball.

  • y wouldt you shoot the buck

  • He's a baby. Maybe a 3 year old probably younger. Shooting a buck just because he's a buck is not practicing good conservation. I won't shoot him unless he's bigger than the last one I shot. If you want meat, shoot a doe. Let the bucks grow up.

  • Exactly!
