If you were injured by a Fedex driver, you would sue Fedex, not the driver, wouldn't you? Why should it be any different because the employer is the government? Also, your share of the $55 million is about 20 cents, so please get off your high horse.
The girl now has a life expectancy of 35 and spent A LOT of time in the hospital and will probably continue to do so. Her life is ruined, regardless of how much money she was given

that 55 million... is that the tax payers money? not being mean or nasty but the tax payers did no wrong, the defendant needs to pay this.

Take some personal rsponsibility. We the taxpayer had no involvment... The person behind the wheel was at fault.
