Whether he was or not really doesn't matter. Obama was never an Indonesian citizen. Because he was born in Hawaii (US soil), he could not lose his US citizenship as a child. He would've had to have renounced US citizenship and sworn an oath of allegiance to Indonesia, which he could not do as a minor. His parents could not do it for him either.
