My game like glitched or something, because i couldnt enter into the surf race thing where you did, i found it someplace else.and i didnt finish it.. and i went to train and then it told me i couldnt surf off the first island and i had to go back to pallet town.. so i did. then it let me surf again, and i went to the gym and she was there so i could fight her. and then after i won i went to that lady and she didnt give me an egg... she just asked if it had hatched.. i dont have an egg.. help?

Pretty sure my copy was a weird glitched version... I reached the gym, but when I exit out to the right, there is an invisible barrier that doesn't let me enter the section where the battles take place.

Not to mention there are a ton of weird warping red doors everywhere... looks like it's time to download a new ROM, haha.

imo you should fight blastoise with lapras because when blastoise uses surf/hydro pump on it it'll heal lapras. and the ice attack isn't that effective
