I had this logo from "see, sing, and play" and some madeline videos. I like that logo which it is also used for books. It's kind of cool to see a little yellow ball which I thought it is a sun as when I imagine to open a book. The sun ball part kind of reminds me with the Roy Rogers logo.
Also on the 1992 VHS of "Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel", "Lovable, Huggable Pound Puppies" and "The Ugly Duckling and Other Hans Christian Andersen Tales".
For those curious, I uploaded "Herbert the Timid Dragon and Other Tales" on my other account, WilEK08, with this logo and the Outer Space logo at the end as well
At The Start Of Disney's Arwin!, There Is A Copyright Notice At The Bottom Of "Golden Book Video" That Reads: (C)2008 Golden Book Video, A Unit Of Random House Home Video, A Division Of Random House Thru Sony BMG Music Entertainment.
I think this logo also appeared on a few Inspector Gadget videos released by Golden Book Video... I know they released "All That Glitters" and "The Coo-Coo Clock Caper"
The only thing I didn't like about this logo back when I saw it was that at the end of every show Golden Book Video made, the finished logo appears for about 3 seconds and shines. Nothing else, not even sound.
No, Brillemeister meant the QUALITY of the audio, NOT the jingle itself. And yes, there was an earlier version of this logo with different music. This also had the scary space logo at the end, which is at the beginning of the "He-Man Little Golden Book Part 2" video.
Maybe not here, but compare the audio on this to the logo following that cheap 80s Golden Book video intro at <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h73U4nc2fFM>.
I actually kinda liked this logo, but the visuals are kind of off-putting.

I most remember this from when they dropped the "GoldenVision" name and started using "Golden Book Video" proper on general-entertainment releases.
I mostly remember it from the various CINAR releases they did (Madeline, A Bunch of Munsch, etc.)

I bought an old Golden Book Video today... it's called "Herbert the Timid Dragon and Other Tales," and it has this logo, but it uses different music!

I see you uploaded it. Listen carefully and you'll hear thar the more synthesized fanfare is similar to this version.
