I have my first piano lessons ever this coming Monday and I didn't want to be totally clueless as to what was what, this helped a bit, but I still have a lot to learn, very excited. And thank you.
Thank you so much for your help. I am just learning and practicing my notes for voice. You have explained sharps, flats, and natural very well. You have removed the doubt I had in my practices.

ooohhhh i understand now!!!!! your a good teacher i was playin this song and it had a bunch of flats and it changed and had a sharp and i was confused because i thought all the blacks were flats but i get it now thanks dude!! i have to watch this video a couple of times so it can sink in my brain and stay there!!
One young student I had once said to me "These are the Flats" (gliding his fingers over the plane of the white keys) ... "and these are the Sharps" (bumping his fingers over the raised black keys).
dude 2yrs ago you did a part 1 angus young playing, now your make all kind videos when do we get see part 2 of angus ,s p[laying???????? we love all your stuff man but 2yrs been while to wait on part 2 dont you think?????
uhm i really dont know why you called all the black one sharps and flats.. actually the black ones arent always the sharp of flat... i actually think this makes it more complicated.. i guess im just used to my piano teachers insturctions ^.^
@dogad0n54 damm wtf? i never said anything disrespectful actually so yeah. Why dont you go get some manners you hill bbilly moron? and i dont have anyy brothers because they died in an accident so thanks for that
what is the sign or the note for a sharp and a flat?? i know theres a "#" which i think is sharp and theres also a slanted "b" looking thing which is prob a flat. but there's thing other note or sign which kinda looks like a square, what would that be?
Thank You SOOO much that made me so happy now i know what a flat and sharp is caouse i've been trying so hard to find at and then u make it so easy thank you ssoooo much!!!
Thankyou, ur awesome i've been wanting to know that for ages. Please could you explain what symbols there are for flat and sharp??? Please write back. Thanks!!
Thank goodness this is a beginning piano video. For that it is very well done)That being said - There are such things as F-flat and C-flat written in music - which students do discover. You do play them on the white keys of E and B - (it's called enharmonics). There is also and E-sharp (F) and a B-sharp (C) which you will find written in music. It's all about moving to the left or right in half-steps.
Thanks man, now it's really easy :)
