My Thoughts on Dark Reign

Not to mention the Dark Avengers are way more powerful than the other Avengers. They have the Sentry, and Ares.

There are other people that say The Hood might be the next Sorcerer Supreme. Then again, Strange might retain the title, guess we won't find out until New Avengers #52 or #53.

Well you know how Marvel is sometimes, they make you think that's the issue, but actually, it's the next issue that they do the reveal.

I don't see Dr. Doom so much a 'back stabber' as someone who uses and then discards others when he no longer needs them. You know that Loki, Doom and Namor have no respect for Osborne at all and will walk before things end.

If it was Sentry, who was the character in shadow, as somebody said then I don't see any of the folks at the table being that threatened by him. He may be powerful but he doesn't strike me as somebody who instills fear. .

I think it is safe to say that it was the Sentry. And yes Doom does use people but like I said, his ego is so big that he won't allow someone to be the center of attention for very long.

There's only one being whose anywhere near powerful enough to scare Doom, Loki and Namor. And that's the Void, Sentrys evil alter ego, last time he showed up he wasted the Avengers, Inhumans, X-Men and an Atlantean army witout breaking a sweat. Sentry's not a threat,m they know he's fairly easy to manipulate and control but with the Void, there's no way to manipulate something that powerful and evil. i wouldn't be suprised if the Voids actually calling the shots and Osbourns his bitch

After what we saw in Dark Avengers #4, it maybe the Void who is appearing as Sentry. I mean after the look Osborn gave, it could very well be the Void.

Which means that Osborn may have did something really, really stupid and could jeopardize ever one.

It's Osborn, he doesn't give a damm about anyone bar himself, and like the Sentry, he's nuts, just the kind of person The Void can control very easily. At this point the only person who stands a decent chance of stopping Osborn is Baron Zemo, with Cap dead and Iorn Man on the run he's the only person who'd be able to rally the old Thunderbolts and other heros/villain agaisnt Osborn and the Cabal

IMO Iron Patriot will be Rhodes clone (for those that have read War Machine #1)..Osborn didnt get his hands dirty when he was with the Thunderbolts..so why start now?..the guy that Osborn says that will check anyone who crossed him is The Sentry..the whole whos gonna be the new sorcerer supreme i believe itll fall with The Hood cuz those that read New Avengers issue at the end the being revealed that is in The Hoods "hood" is Dormmammu....nuff said

Wow, a Rodie clone?! Man that is something. Yeah it was revealed that the Sentry was in fact the "friend" that Osborn was talking about. But the new sorcerer supreme still hasn't been revealed yet because as far as the cover goes for the next Hulk issue goes, Dr. Strange looks like he got a revamp.

Yeah actually that rhodey clone makes sense, i did wonder when i saw it in there. But equally it seems unnecessary, i mean it doesnt seem you need any special powers to operate the suit. Plus surely someone as close to Tony Stark wouldnt be a good person to put on the Dark Avengers ATM? Its a confusing time.

I'm very interested to see how The Punisher is going to play into this.I see there starting a new run of Punisher comics that are not under the Marvel Max series that have to different covers that are a take on the Punisher's debut in Amazing Spiderman and the two covers one has Sentry in his crosshairs and the other has Norman Osborn in his crosshairs that should be interesting.

I agree, the sniping cover(s) have be excited about the character but you know... the covers sometimes deceive you so I am keeping my expectations to a minimum. I think Castle needs to keep away from the dude that shot the villains in Civil War in front of the heroes. I think he's a LOT more calculative than they have been making him lately.

Probably gonna be here for a while, if they wanted it to end Nick Fury would become head of shield again and not leader of the secret warriors in hiding. It would be funny if iron patriot was osborne with oztech. Doom will do something remember he has an agreement with both Namor and Loki.

The "Wolverine" on the Dark Avengers is Wolverines son. If you look at certain preview art for New Avengers you see one of the Dark Wolverine's claws comes from the wrist. Only Wolvie's son can do that. ^_^

TimeGem also mentions this in his SI#8 video. I am wondering who is Spidey's doppleganger. It doesn't look like Gargan/Venom but then again I could be wrong. To compliment Spidey's style, it has to be someone acrobatic and Osborn can just reverse engineer the web from Spidey leaving it behind (all over Manhattan!). Oh yeah, I think Bullseye might be taking the Hawkeye role since he's got such good aim.

the dark reign one-shot is the epilogue to secret invasion, tony stark is out, sheild is disbanded and the preisdent assigns norman osborn to take over the superhero initive.

With Strange missing, I think Doom might be the next one up to take the mantle of Soceror Supreme, but yes, Doom is THE PERSON to watch during this whole thing. I think he's going to be pulling some strings during Dark Reign and possibly be starring in the next Marvel event next year. I mean, he's been a B villain for the last couple of years, even Nitro did more damage than him in CIvil War. Doom needs to climb up the ladder of Bad Ass-ery again!
