I have to say lol I think your guy should have gotten 5 minute major for fighting AND the instigator penalty. Sometimes I like it when other people step up into the fight instead of the intended target lol.

on the xbox version go up to a guy and press Y when the game isnt going on or when a penalty is called

well you can say if you put it on half then it is 3 and when you took it all off it is 0 if you putt it all on it is 6 to 7 well at least that is alot

Lol. To win the fights all the time in NHL 10 you just power punch like hell not even taking the time to block. It always works for me in the NHL 10 demo. It depends if this strategy is good in Xbox Live or PS3 online (whatever you call it). If the person blocks a lot he'll just punch when you're off-guard.

why didnt they copy nhl2k9-10 fighting. its the only thing 2k hockey is good at.

First of all i wish the fight would just start randomly.. like when ur skating down ice it just starts. Second of all i wish the referess were close by to make it more realistic, and i want to see more shirt pulling(LOL).. all that would make it more realistic

They need to make it so fights can start after the play is stopped and you have to try to get past the refs from breaking it up... or they could at least make it so you can shove a guy after he runs into your goalie just little scrums would be cool

when are they gonna make a fight end like a hockey fight?!! hockey fights NEVER end with one guy falling down on his own like that. its always one guy fallin on top of another guy or both fallin down and the refs jumpin in. the way all hockey fights end in games is dumb.

On the bottom of the line change screen it says something like "BOOST" at the bottom, so I don't know if it is fatigue recovery or player attributes

it depends on how often the user wants to start a fight, the AI doesn't start fights

@nyrangers1316 yea it does, shoot the puck into the other teams goal if possible after gametime stops (ex. calling for offsides, end of period, penalty, etc.) i do that to give me something to do when that happens and then one of the other teams players starts pushing me and i can get into a fight with him if i want to.
