I work for an insurance company and I know it is not worth talking to brokers, they will always try to take advantage of you,otherwise they do not make any money at all. Avoid the middleman.

Working for an insurance company, when was the last time you helped a consumer find more affordable coverage with a competing company after you raised her rate for the third time in two years? When your company refuses to pay her medical claims (legalese for seeing her doctor), is she supposed to trust an employee of the company that's refusing to pay to have her best interest at heart? Good brokers serve the public and they do it well.
