  • Well spoken easy to understand without the use of slang. Well presented look forward to hearing more..

  • how much was it total for every thing

  • good video man thanks .

  • thx for the video

  • Hey man great video!

  • Very nice

  • looks cool! but if it is made of paper will it burn up if you are playing the disc because I am scared.

  • @RLJLProductions No it wont as long as you put it (the label) on the CD correctly.

Or if you are scared you could use a cd printing machine which is way easier.

  • I love the overall design man. My only critique is to not use press-on CD labels, only because they screw up the CD, and for some reason don't play that well. That's been my experience at least. But good work nontheless.

  • very good ...thanks bro i liked most..but still one quesiton is there..after getting print of that labels how you cut it in round shape ? was it already or u did it? if yes, than how you cut it in exact round shape? any tips ..please

  • This was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a lot brotha.

  • Mahalo for sharing your video! Googled creating cd/dvd and your link popped up. Very helpful =)

  • it costs too much for photo shop

  • this was really helpfull, thanks..

  • people still listen to mixtapes??

  • @fu1501 If there were no more mixtapes there would be no more upcoming artists. Think about what you're gonna write before you write it... or you'll look like a dumbass ;)

  • @iTheGeek about fu1501, he's talking about oldschool mixtapes, on magnetic like a c60 compact, before cds became popular, a lot of people made "mixtapes" which were just mixes, etc thrown together off the radio (or whatever) pretty quick. hope i didn't come off as too old there. lol

  • @DJMC5ive Nah he said "people still listen to mixtapes?" reffering to the mixtape in this video. Which is a CD. CDs aren't used that much anyone (since everyone has flash drives, Micro SD cards, ect nowadays) but are you really gonna give someone an SD card or a flash drive when they cost so much more than CD? Nope. And don't worry, you're not too old.

  • @iTheGeek lmao i can just see handing someone an SD card. that would be dope though, they could have non-rewritables at the record store with some 450ogg, flac, or what have you on them. though if those came out instead of cd's in the store i'd probably lose them after copying them onto my computer in a non-copy protect format. and btw thanks for the reply

  • Yes I been waitin for this !

  • heck yeah fam, ur my hero

  • Thanks a lot man.

  • Always wondered on how to do this, thanks! :)

  • what did he use to put on the parental advisory and pics, logos, signature and all that?

  • Thanks dude,I was gonna do something like you,get sticker paper and cut out what I need and crap, but that works WAAY better

  • thanks

  • First, let me say I really enjoyed your info on this subject and I LikeYour Design!!

    My question is

Since you printing in Black n White I was wondering have you thought about using Lightscribe?

You don't have to worry about purchasing paper, and most of all you don't run the risk of the paper on CD getting stuck in player.

I know the Lightscribe CD's are more exspensive and the printing process is SLOW as Heck but in the long run I personally think it;s worth it!

    Keep up the Good Work!!!!

  • wow your voice is so rap

  • how do u get the parental advisory n that

  • Very helpful. Thanks.

  • Best thing to do is go buy an Epson Printer and printable CDs. Then you can print right on the cd itself. Just look for an Epson Printer that can print on a cd or dvd

  • this is cool bro

  • what should the print calibration be set at.

  • thanks bro, i was really helpful

  • Thank you so much man, I truly appreciate it! =)

  • but if you can do at home, it means the cd is unofficial. you have to register before you sell the cd. right?

  • what you called the black rounded..that you press????

  • Can you play these in your car with no problems? Also, where can I buy the paper besides amazon? One more question, is it hard to put on the label on the CD without the applicator?

  • Nice video, only thing, you left out the right setting so when you print the graphic will fall right on the label paper and not outside. I have also the memorex label product but when I sent the print from Photoshop the design was off the second label. Thanks again, and looking forward to hear from you.

  • How Do You Change Your Format To A Acoustica CD/DVD Label From Photo Shop>!

  • Thanks so much for making this video! I would like to make a CD some day, and this really helped out!

  • Awesome, thx man

  • Hello! thanks 4 this video really help us. i have a question ..u printed with a special cd printer or a normal laser printer??

and also... if i just want the label over the cd ... what should i do?

    thanks

  • HOW DO YOU PRINT THE DESIGN ON THE CD ENY HELPP PLEASE

  • how do you get the design labels to line up with the cd label paper when you print them out?

  • if you're interested in cd labels I'd like to bring your attention to other alternatives too. This method works well for most cd players, and the other options are: Lightscribe (which creates laser-etched graphics on your disc). The burner is really cheap, but the discs go for about 65 cents each at greater quantity, at least where I'm from. The second option is getting a printer which can print on discs. I use a Canon Pixma 4850 which cost me roughly 85 bux. Get one if you need a printer anyway

  • hahahahahahaha

  • MAn Dis vid wz sooo helpful !! But da begginning wz kinda shady as far as deTail go

  • Wikid, so Mikal starts his Career as a Musician thanks to this geezer, cheers for sharing lol

  • YOU ARE SO HELPFUL!!!!!!!

  • ohhhhh man. dope shit homie.

  • i heard the sticky paper wares off quickly then it leaves a stick rez on the cd has this happened to you? i usually just print my design on a thin paper then use a special super glue on the paper and it works perfect

  • omfg thank you mane r

  • Really great video man! Hey, would you by chance know how to get a case cover that covers the entire cd case? Rather than the small one you have with your groups' description on it? And also, are there any other programs you know of that are free and can create labels?

  • dudes rad

  • whats up dude, when you get this comment please write me back, i got acoustica cd dvd label maker, the unregistered version, it will not alloy me to print any of my cd labels onto my memorex paper, is this because its the unregistered verison or is there some kind set up i have to do to get it to work, please get back to me as soon as you can

  • does the type of printer matter at all when printing on the label ??

  • @designnow51 only if you care about the quality, get a laser printer.

  • @RicanJoeMusic so if we didnt give a shit about the quality we still good ???

  • Just want to say thanks for all this. I'm a singer song writer and I didn't know how to go about making my own cd's and I don't have much money so this was invaluable ! Cheers

  • thanks man!

    great video. very helpful

  • how do you get the copyright notice??

  • Comment removed

  • I've heard that cds made this way have a potential risk of destroying some hi-fi systems (the ones that spin the disc really fast). If the paper loosens it can be a pain in the butt to get it out. I read on the internet how someone had to pay 2 grand to fix his cd player after he accidently broke it while trying to get a paper label out of there.

  • @damillionmalania I heard that before too lol.

  • @RicanJoeMusic Yea, thats almost fucked up my dvd drive in my computer it tears up the paper.

  • @RicanJoeMusic i would rather spend the 2 grand on a new cd player

  • @damillionmalania dont hate. ..

  • @101190ize What did I say that can be interpreted as hate? :S I was just saying that there's a risk of damaging your cd-player, so that everyone who uses this method of producing their cd-labels would be aware. There's nothing hateful about it. :S

  • @damillionmalania i would rather spend that 2 grand to buy a new cd player

  • @kierankwj Depends on what cd player you have. There's some wicked expensive shit out there and I don't know why people insist on getting it. -.- Like the BeoSound 9000 for example.Goes for 3180 Brittish POUNDS. :P In this case I think it was just a very old and incredibly rare system though. Hard to get spare parts and someone who knows the system, so a lot more work goes into it.

  • @damillionmalania 2 grand? i would of bought a new cd player.. pff

  • @yo0m0o Like I think I said before, it all depends on if you have a Bang&Olufsen (limited designer stuff) or if you have a decent Sony cd player...personally I think the Bang&Olufsen has the most amazing sound on the planet, but for the price (about 50 grand for a TV+external speakers) you could instead choose to go to the cinema with a friend once a week for 80 years, so all in all...nah... :P

  • @damillionmalania damn! that's a lot of money pff, i guess puttin' it that way...

  • @yo0m0o indeed. If you happen to pass by a store of theirs somewhere I advise you to drop in though. The sound quality is extreme. Not that I would ever buy it for a second, but still. Check it out if you have the chance. You won't regret it. ;)

  • cool dude ur nice dude...keep go on!!!

  • he is a smart kid he nows what he is doing
