  • I also did that to kill him with the morph ball booms

  • is better the metroid other m !

  • 0:26 no fall.

    0:40 again shit.

    0:56 finally i did it.

  • 0:26 no fall.

    0:40 again shit.

    0:56 finally i did it

  • So wait, you have to shoot its "body" instead of where my gun aims at (the top of his back)?

  • thanks, i have been trying to find the plasma beam for a long time now... i love your videos, they have helped me a lot.

  • 0:16 what happens if u shoot those little icicle guys with the plasma beam?

  • @DarknessDragon71: They shatter just like when you hit them with a missile.

  • 3:19 godzilla!!!!!

  • i like how do you play that game metroid is like the best shooter game ever :> i´ts so fantastic with battles and dadat about the enemies ;>

  • HA HA YOU FUCK UP FALLING IN THE WATER

  • how do you double jump like that?

  • You have to time your bombs. If you time it right you can do a double jump.

  • @superboydevlin Just get in ball form and drop a bomb. When that bomb is about to explode drop another bomb. Then when you're in the air drop another bomb. Once you hit the ground the bomb that u left before explodes and the one in the air does too. It might be confusing but that's how you do it.

  • as do two jumps in a single leap? because the mountains do 2 hops floating gas? Why?

  • I'm sorry, what?

  • Varia Suit. =P

  • @somosfingerboard You need the space jump in order to get there.

  • how do u shoot missiles so fast?

  • @destrucionmaul It's a glitch. If you press A right after firing a missile, you can shoot another one right away. So if you alternate pressing A and down (or Y on the GC) you can shoot them this fast.

  • jeez how many missiles do you have

  • You can't kill them, their invincible , I know their annoying, you just have to avoid them

  • wow you defeated the sheegoth easily.

  • Lmfao I came here cause i thought I was doing something wrong but those two platforms are too far apart and I find it very unnessesary

  • I saw your vid you should se mine

  • aha!! now i know what to do^^

thanks. i hate games where i always have to look up what the programmers want from me^^ but this is the first time in prime 1.

  • The first time through Prime 1 is hard, but manageable. Prime 2...that's a different story.

  • is it harder? than 1?

    harder than 3?

only need to play the second one. then i completed the trilogy

  • It's harder than one, I think, as most of the enemies are either cheaper or tougher than they were in Prime 1. Also, there's the whole "Dark World" thing that sucks away your health, making things a little more difficult. And finally there's the obnoxiously hard Sky Temple Key quest at the end. In my opinion, it's the hardest of the trilogy. Still, it's not super insanely difficult, (excluding the Boost Boss and Spider Guardian) and is probably my favorite in the trilogy.

  • Plus, that goddamn ammunition system made me rage everytime I overused the annihilator beam. and since I was way too lazy to search for ammu upgrades

  • Agreed. I was paranoid of wasting ammo, so I just used the Power Beam on everything I fought except bosses.

  • hay u know how 2 kill Bombu-s! =]

  • Huh so they kept it so that if you press b rapidly you break free of ice.

I figured theyd make it so you had to shake the wii remote to break out.

  • What does left, right and up do on the pad?

  • Nothing.

  • That's lame, they could have programed the left for visor select, and the right for beam select.. I've always felt it a bit uncomfortable to mash those oddly placed tiny +/- buttons..

    Thanks for all the replies.

  • If I could make my own custom controls I'd make it so that up on dpad changes to thermal visor, left on dpad changes to scan visor and right on dpad changes to X-ray visor. and you could change back to combat visor by pressing your current visor button again. then beams would be - and point at screen.

Why would I want it like this you ask?

SO + CAN BE FREAKING PAUSE!!!!!!!!

Plus should be the pause button!!!!

  • i never knew they made a remake for this...

    im definitely gonna get this!

  • Lol you kept missing the icy ledge. I always used to do that, it made me so annoyed!

  • I bought this game 1 week ago.

This is a noob question. When you're in morph ball form, how do you jump w/o using the bombs.

  • Well first, it has to be on the Wii version. Then all you do is flick the Wii Remote up.

  • since this is the wii version, just like corruption

  • How did you change beams so quickly? You hit + to goto the wave beam then you just snapped back to Power beam

  • If you just tap + it switches back to the power beam.

  • Can it only change back to the Power beam? or to any wep, only in order? you know like, tap + and it'll chage back to the Power Beam. But if you have the Ice Beam and tap + will it change to the Wave Beam, and if you tap + again will it change to the Paowr Beam?

  • No. It only changes back to the power beam.

  • recently you answered this same question for me...funny how many times you have to answer it lol

  • I usually don't go crazy with the missiles on the first part with the Baby Sheegoths, since I know I need them for when the Adult Sheegoth comes in.

  • Though I have the Prime on Gamecube and have played through it many times, I'm still getting this thing the first day it comes out.

  • They didn't fix the fast missile glitch lol

  • Yo, I've got a question for you. Is there the option to switch the jump and fire buttons in this like there was in prime 3? Personally I prefer to fire weapons with the B trigger then using the A button. Just fells more natural to me that way.

  • Yep, there is.

  • Thanks, I figured there would be, but sometimes I tend to fear that they would remove something that I like. Glad to see Retro kept as many things from Prime 3 as they did (control wise that is).

  • yea also if u do that than u can use the wii zapper in each 1

  • I want this game... Bad

  • this game kicks ass. i want it also

  • Hey, um, just curious... How do you switch beams? I'm happy to see that you *can* switch beams, but, see, I can't read Japanese...

  • You hold the + button and point at the beam you want

  • Whoa. Nice!

...Though how do you pause...? =/

  • 2.

2 is the pause menu, and 1 is the map

  • Oh. Whoops. Heheh, I haven't played MP3 for a while, I forgot the controls. (I forgot about Hyper Mode, and thought + was Pause...) Stupid question on my part., sorry about that =P

  • lol It's ok.

  • Have you noticed any change in the graphis? Soures in the Internet said that NPC!MP would have better textures than the original, appart from the 16:9 option.

  • Yes i have noticed that it looks better. I don't know about a lot, but it does look better. Especially when you use component cables.

  • Wow you blast through a lot of areas like your speedrunning, i take it youve done this before :P

  • So you earn those thing like you do in Prime 3?

  • Yeah. There's unlockables just like it too. And i just found out that the Fusion Suit IS in the game. So my guess is thats where you would unlock it at.

  • So what difficulty are you playing? (If you know).

  • The lowest. :D

Which is kinda funny cause i noticed some monsters take longer to kill than they did on the GC version. But then again, some die quicker too.

  • You might be on Veteran, not Normal. I remember reading on m2k2 that the difficulties are listed backwards or something like that.
