I tend to agree with him in that gold is a vital bridge in times of great instability and uncertainty as now. However once you have a proper currency system in place, Gold becomes redundant and even limitative of a natural, healthy monetary system.. @Motoicon - It's a complex subject. My very knowledgeable good friend G Edward Griffin is a strong proponent of gold, for example. I tend to agree with him in that gold is a vital bridge in times of great instability and uncertainty as now. However once you have a proper currency system in place, Gold becomes redundant and even limitative of a natural, healthy monetary system.. I couldn't agree with you more, that we need to be critical about which information is to be trusted, and I for myself wouldn't lay my hands in fire for Wikileaks - but being at the 25C3 conference last year, I can say that the Wikileaks debate was a superb one. The general philosophy that was debated, is, how to achieve a more scientific journalism where informatiion can be verified by independant sources - as todays MSM journalism is characterized by opinionism and propaganda...
