  • i got one of these cooling my video card - now i got a big overclock on the card - the noise dont bother me at all after seeing the overclock lol

  • Just ordered four of these with a fan controller for my Corsair 800D.

I think I just might freeze some components in there...

  • I can feel air blowing through my lcd screen lol. Powerful fan!

  • you cant beet the roar of a fan on an over clocked pc to know its working.

  • 68 dB? LOL

  • @alldaygamer Shortly after that comment sunbeam started selling the rheosmart 6 in north america, which has subtle LEDs, pwm control on all your fans (even 3 pin), and a much nicer and higher quality design. It still has the impressive 30 watts per channel, comes with lots of cables and works great. That is the one I have now and I highly reccommend it.

  • if you ever need a paper shredder...

  • @Martinm210 So without the radiator, what are the cfms?

  • @Unasigad

I didn't test open air. It's kind of a useless spec really. Even a case fan install with the case backpressure and case grill will add a fair amount of resistance. Per the manufacturer specs, open air is 133.

  • That was downright ridicules

  • 最大にすると、とてもうるさいですね。

  • 30db at 7volt

  • @Robbaz Nope CFM.

  • Can anyone recommend a good fan controller? I got six of these and they are very loud when I'm just surfing the web, specially at night. Or should I switch them out for quieter ones?

  • @alldaygamer Rheobus Extreme by sunbeam. 6 Channels, 30W for channel means plenty of power for the fans unlike most controllers, good look to it on the front of your case, and fairly cheap at around 30 bucks.

  • @FlyingToast303 I have that fan controller and it kinda sucks. The knobs are way to bright and the fans wont start spinning until you turn them more than half way. I ended up getting rid of the Ultra Kaze and replacing them with some Scythe S-FLEX SFF21F. They're a lot quieter and my temperatures are the same for the most part.

  • I have bought four of these, plus got two 140mm 1700rpm. Will use them in my NZXT TEMPEST case. Now it will be truly an air flow king.

  • How far away was the mic to the fan bearing? It seems too close, If it was far, then Im staying away from these fans. Fan Bearing/Motor ticking noise is way to high for my taste. Although they would be good for occasional benching.

  • whats with the annoying tick in the fan ?

  • at 7.00 V, it isn´t that loud as I tought.

And you have to think a minute aboput it. If you are playing with a headset and your case is close, you wouldn´t hear it.

  • lol, turn the vuvuzaela on when the fan's at 12 volts.

  • LMAO!

I could feel the frickin air flow through my laptop!!!!!

  • I wanna put 2 of these in push/pull on my h50.

  • @Droogie128 good fans if you and your neighbors are deaf.

  • Do they have PWM so that can run on lower V or do you have to buy a FAN controller ?

  • lol, nice i have 3 of these just waiting to be put on my triple rad.

  • Just bought 2 of these to use in a push/pull setup on my Corsair H50 to replace the 2 Akasa Apache I'm currently using. Thank god I bought a new fan controller as well. I don't care that much about noise but I don't think I need to hear this thing at full speed all the time.

Great videos, it was a great guide to help me decide witch one I should get.

  • i Love my Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000 ...

  • WTFH. These Fans are perfect 4 LN2 benching :D

  • "I feel the wind blowing in my hair!..."

  • That is crazy

  • Will this sound a lot different from my current stock cooler? bought 2 of these to put them on my megahalems xD

  • oh yea?

Well i found a whole box of these in the trash with the cables cut off.

whole box. like 15-19 of these..hahaha

  • i have an obsidian and fitted the top three grills with three 120mm delta fans..... very silly

  • i have that fan and it cut my nails cleanly, but i don't want to try it again

  • I have a HAF 932 case and was thinking about putting 12 of these in my computer. 4 on the side, 3 on top, one in back for exaust, one on the bottom in front of psu, one in the front in front of the hard drive cage, two more in the 5.25 inch drive bays a blower duct from my old 900 antec case. If I'm lucky my computer wont LEVITATE off the floor. All running at 3000 rpm's plus I was planning on three ati 5870's in tri fire running the fans on all of them at 100 percent.

  • You got yourself an Airplane with 12 of these running full speed.

  • I bet you could seriously make a RC airplane with 2 of these, one of those large foam airplanes and a RC controller from a hobby shop plus a little electronics from the fans to the transmitters... hmm this sounds like a fun summer activity I might just try it. Hahahaha

  • @traingp7 -I've got the HAF 932, I originally used 12 of these in that case...Super loud, but now I'm using the Delta's at 6000rpm a piece. Who needs liquid cooling when you have a 3000 or 6000 rpm on your CPU cooler. The case is terribly loooud, Not even an I7 build.

  • @traingp7 good luck, 1 of those full blast was enough to cool my xfired 4890's even over clocked, 2 intake fans in the front one 80mm one 120 under my bluray player blowing over my HD's and motherboard, and the ultra kazi in the rear for exhaust. phenom II x4 Oc'd to 4.2Ghz 1600mhz ram Oc'd to 2000mhz. 3000mhz bus 3000mhz northbridge running 100% load prime 95 for 72 hours and only reaching max temp of 124 degrees F. 12 of those? Enough to cool a whole room of servers..

  • @traingp7

Don't talk bullshit you poor little bitch.

  • ah the sweet sound of the ultra kaze! ive 4 of them in my case LOL

  • lol sounds like a jet engine @ 12 V XD

  • Yes, way too loud for me, but a good cheap fan if you need power and don't care about noise much.

  • @Martinm210 whats the meter on the right?? .. oh and what s the cfm and static pressure?

  • @Naopro

Right is voltage at the plug.

Left is CFM through the radiator test rig.

Didn't test static pressure, but the actual CFM is a good indicator because fans with poor static pressure don't usually do too well through a radiator.

  • @Martinm210 ahh... thanks... lol i meant "what is the meter on the LEFT" hehe..but u answereed so thanks a lot. are these worth the noise?

  • well, i knew i hear (heard?) it was supposed to move something crazy like 130 CFPM...

but uh... according to wikipedia: 60-80 Db is a passenger car @ 10 meters ( 10 meters away?! lol...) and 78Db is long term exposure hearing loss...

so... might wanna invest in some ear plugs... (or hearing aids?)

  • lmao holy shit thats loud

  • r you shure you don't live in tornato ally and theres a tornato right out side you window

  • I just got one. I love it,, it's absolutely fantastic. Who needs to hear anyway?

  • Update on this...

I just purchased a fan controller because I can't actually have my computer on and watch tv at the same time... This fan is that loud.

  • Loud fan is loud
